Home safely!
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!!
My personal grooming is all done. Brazilian Bikini Wax – check, Eyebrows –check, Mani-Pedi -check, Hair wash & blow dry –check.
So, I decided I’ll come home after surgery. My husband tried to convince me that I need a wheelchair and called up a wheelchair rental to reserve one. At the time, all I could think about was how embarrassed I’m going to be if my neighbors see me. A few days later, I was telling a friend of mine about what going on and she said, “I have a wheelchair” next thing out my mouth was, “Can I borrow?” Turns out she own a walker, a shower chair and an unused portable toilet!! I was like, “I’ll take everything except the portable toilet.” I’ll be camping out in the Living-room where the recliner and big screen TV are located. Can you imagine me using a portable toilet with 3 men around?! I would never hear the end of it!!
Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!! Getting clothes together for what I’ll wear home from the hospital and what I’ll wear the following day for my 1st Post Op Visit. I don’t usually take medication because I don’t like the way it alters my body. Since I’ll be heavily medicate (trust me, this time I will gladly pop those pills) who knows if I’ll be able to think straight. Might as well take the time to plan all my outfits from today.
Still not feeling nervous. Looking forward to tomorrow. The only thing that I find a bit inconvenient is, my period. YES, she decided to pay an untimely visit! The nurse said not to worry about it, they’ll just stick a pad there, EEWWWW!!! Thinking about how I’ll make my male PS aware. “I’m so sorry but I think you should know…” How do I say it?! To me that’s more embarrassing than being seen in a wheelchair!
I have to get to the hospital at 7:30am, surgery is at 9am. Getting ready for bed now, it’s time to cuddle with my husband.
Dilemma, Dilemma!
Provider Review
I check out 3 Plastic Surgeons before making my decision. The 3rd PS was recommended by my Primary Doctor. I reviewed him and he was super qualified. From the moment I walked into his office I had a great feeling. I LOVED everything … the setup, the cleanliness, the friendly staff. I am a talker and his staff was just as talkative! I clicked with them. When I met Dr. Sasson, I liked him immediately, and knew my search was over. He was pleasant, personable, caring & friendly. He answered ALL my questions, showed me before and after pic and made me feel at ease. He went over how he would help me achieve my goal. Some of the ladies in his office told me they had Tummy Tucks performed by Dr. Sasson. When I asked if I could see, they were more than happy to show me his work up close.
