Collage

Dr. Sun was nice enough to take my pictures at day 7. I made a collage to compare my preoperative and day 7 results. I notice that my lateral eyes are a bit better.

Day 6

Pretty much scab free! Now waiting for the skin to contract.

I have been seeing good results for ladies getting their eCO2 (Lutronic's fractionated CO2 laser) treatment: especially, around the eyes. The healing time to bright pink skin was roughly one week for them. I wanted to see what I can get for my sagging eyelids.

Before the procedure, I was given Motrin and anti cold sore medication. The numbing cream was applied for about an hour. Laser contacts lens were put in and the procedure was done in about 30 minutes. Some areas were uncomfortable, but for a big chicken like me, I can have it done again. I had about 1 kJ of energy put into my face which was consider on the lighter side. The aesthetician put two application of cooling packs and I left the office pretty comfortable.

The shower that night felt like you would after scraping your skin (burning). The moisturizers helped after the shower. I showered 3 times a day and had daily packs applied with dilute vinegar preps. This morning's shower, which was painless, helped remove a lot of shed skin. I am back to work on day 3 with these laser spots.

The reason that I put down "yes" on Was it worth it? is because I am healing uneventfully so far.
