Great lip lift experience!

5 month post op

5 months post op! looking back at the 6 week one it was still swollen. Now its much more natural and lifted!

How soon after the stitches are out can you have the laser treatment? I’ll be there for two weeks. Dr Talei was really nice, I had a FaceTime consult with him. Your results are so pretty!!
Thank you! I had my laser 2 or 3 weeks after the suture removal. 2 weeks there is plenty time for you to recover. Stitches were out on 3rd and 5th day because I’m Asian I scar easier, if you are not Asian it’s probably 5-7 days to remove. Not sure if you can laser that early but I think he might give you a steroid shot before you leave tho. That shot swells you up for 2 days but it will look really good after that!!! Make sure you take a lot of vitamin c during recovery it should help to heal faster! Good luck on your surgery!!!

2.5 weeks and 6 weeks post lip lift

Sorry guys, the format didn’t allow square collages. So I had to separate the pics into the right format. Here are the 2.5 and 6 week pics, it’s getting softer and more natural looking by the day. Over all very happy with the result. Toughest days were 1-3 days (super swollen and needed a mirror to help me guide my spoon in when eating) but after suture removal it was shrinking in front of my own eyes, I guess the pressure from the sutures got relieved or something.

Hi! I posted this on another review as well, but I was just wondering what type of medications he prescribes for the lip lift, and for how many days? I have a sensitive gut and liver so that's the part that worries me the most, especially the antibiotics. Thanks!
I think you don’t need to take the antibiotics, it was more for deswelling! But those arnica Montana in homeopathy form was taken for healing. Also I think strong pain killers was recommended, you must eat something before taking it. Also there is the steroid pack, I don’t think it hurts the stomach. Medicines were for 5 days. I find with sensitive stomach I must eat a bread with peanut butter first! It really makes a huge difference!

Great review!! Can’t wait for more updates! I love how it did not distort your nose at all! And I love how he keeps the scar hidden under the nasal sill! My questions are about after care... Did you have to be careful w eating, laughing, kissing, so as not to stretch the scar?? Very beautiful results!!!

Yes it’s hidden under the nasal sill so now it’s much less obvious! eating was better after 1-2weeks, but laughing was restricted (can’t laugh big) until about 2 or 3 months, it’s still a little tight. Kissing I wouldn’t dare! My husband pecked me a little and it was very sore! So I will wait haha. The only thing Dr. Talei told me was not to stretch the area, like no mouth over teeth kind of motion but laughing is ok!

6 weeks post lip lift

Been 6 weeks now since the surgery, I posted before and after at 2.5 weeks, this is 6 weeks post. Will update it one more time at 3 months mark! Almost able to smile fully, still a little tight but no one can tell I’ve done the lip lift now.
