Great Experience for Tummy Tuck + Lipo

I am now 7 weeks post-op and had a tummy tuck and liposuction of the flanks and upper arms with Dr. Rahban. I have had a great experience.

When I first started my plastic surgery journey, I did an exhaustive amount of research and was impressed with the excellent and consistent reviews Dr. Rahban had online. Based upon my research I had consultations with him as well as two other highly rated surgeons in Beverly Hills. What impressed me about Dr. Rahban was that he was honest and straight forward. I felt that his transparency and clarity on what to expect was very reassuring, especially before undergoing major surgery. His staff was also incredible, professional, and kind. Additionally, Dr. Rahban talked about the fact that he would sew up my tummy tuck incision himself (and not an assistant), allowing for the most minimal scarring possible. So, for all the aforementioned reasons, I decided to work with Dr. Rahban.

Now that I am 7 weeks post-operation, I am thrilled with the results. I honestly did not think my tummy tuck would look as good at it does so soon after surgery. In particular I'm impressed with the tummy tuck incision - the scar looks great compared to other photos I have seen online at the approximately 6-7 week mark, and this I believe is based upon Dr. Rahban sewing me up himself (and not an assistant). My arms look smaller as well, though they are still a little inflamed (which is normal), so I'll be able to see the full results with more time.

If you're considering plastic surgery I highly recommend meeting with Dr. Rahban. Additionally, do A LOT of research and fully understand the recovery period. My first two weeks of recovery were very painful and difficult. This is pretty "normal" for a major surgery, and the pain level is different from person to person. I also had a family member stay with me for 3 weeks post surgery to ensure I was OK at all times and to help me with basic tasks such as making meals, getting up, etc. Tummy tucks are a major surgery, so make sure you understand the full commitment. Dr. Rahban and his staff are great at answering questions, so take your time in the consultation to ask anything on your mind.

Overall, I highly recommend this doctor and will absolutely go to him again if I ever decide to undergo any additional procedures.
