I had a little Botox for my eyes and juvaderm for my lips so I figured I would get rid,of the spider veins on my face. I was tired of trying to cover them. It's been 3 days since the procedure and I was horrified at the swelling. The clinic did not prepare me for it not did they suggest icing it. Just a cold cloth if there was burning. It does look like my spider veins have lessened considerably; for which I am happy; but I wish I had researched it further or the clinic nurse had not treated me so aggressively. Thank goodness for this site which got me through the long weekend with answers to my questions. I plan to go back to the clinic Monday morning for drugs to help with the swelling as suggested by your online Doctors.

I am having very similar results to yours plus some bruising on day 3, the treatment was on Friday. Did you end up going back to your doctors office to treat the swelling?

I did go back but by that time is was subsiding enough that he didn't suggest anything really. Benadryl and lots and lots of ice inside wash clothes. I also did spoons in the freezer for my eyes.

Ok thanks so much for responding! I am already using Zyrtec and ice packs, I will try the spoon thing as well.

This is exactly my experience. After 3 days I look like an Apple Doll. I cannot go to work and will contact Kaiser on Monday for prescription to reduce swelling. I should have done my own due diligence.

49 Years Old - Laser to Remove Veins on Face
I hated always trying to keep the veins on my checks and nose and even inside my nostrils where they were visible. The laser treatment was quite extreme and done at a high setting so the swelling lasted a week instead of a couple days ; byut the results are fantastic. Just one treatment and I can wear a light foundation and feel comfortable all day. Even at the beach I will go makeup less and feel so much more confident in how my skin looks.

I had vbeam done recently. It took one week for the swelling to go down. My doctor said to use cold whole milk under my eyes which helped plus benedryl.
There is just a little bruising left.
I wish my doctor had told me about the down time however I'm very happy with the results

Hello!
Could you please tell me
Did you experience and "thumbprint" type indenatations on your face? I had just 1 Vbeam treatment and had excessive swelling for 7 days. My skin looks puffy at cheeks and under eyes a bit still. I have these thumbprint type shallow indentations on both side on my cheeks. it s been almost 8 days and I look redder than before. No bruising , or blisters from treatment. Thank you for your help!

I had this done about a little over 3 weeks ago and slight have some slight swelling in my cheeks. I was wondering if this is normal, did your swelling go away?
I am glad you found us, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with V Beam. Does using the cold cloth provide much relief? Can you use an icepack, or did they say not to?
