WORTH IT
I just had surgery a couple of days ago, but this was one of the best decisions I have made! The doctor removed a total of 4lbs 12oz, and I couldn't be happier. My breasts should be a D after the swelling goes down. I'm really looking forward to running my first 5k this year, now that the girls won't be in the way!

I finally got up the courage to post my before and after pics! It's really quite a big difference! Today was my 5 day post-op appointment and I'm healing really well. These are the before/after photos taken by my surgeon's office.

As you can see, I was very lopsided pre-surgery. I had just under 1300 grams removed from the right side and just under 900 grams removed from the left side. Please excuse the big gut in my before pics... I lost 20 pounds between those pics and my surgery :)

wow, it seems like just yesterday you did your surgery and you already look so normal! you look great! I am so envious.... but happy for you of course :)

Thank you! I am so ready for all of these scars to heal though, and to be able to lift my little guy again. I'll admit that I've cheated and lifted him a few times in the last few days, but I can't have someone here 24/7 to help me, so I have to lift him once in a while. Nathan has gotten pretty good at lifting him at least into his high chair for me though :)

Thanks for sharing! Wow, you had "the" Dr Hammond? I started researching the SPAIR technique after you mentioned it to me and saw a video of his on YouTube. but I didn't realize that was your surgeon. you look great already! What a difference! the markings on you before cracked me up.... those arrows! Lol! I feel like that is the way I feel everyday. I just want them lifted up like the arrows imply! They belong up!!

Thanks :) Yes, I had "the" Dr Hammond! I still have a lot of swelling, but I'm happy so far. It's a huge difference! It's so bizarre because for the first time ever, when I take off my bra, my boobs stay in the same place! LOL Eventually they'll get a little lower once the swelling goes down. Right now I would say that they are extra perky :)
