I am 35 years old. When I was 21, I decided my boobs were too small and all I could think about was getting a boob job. Some of my college sorority sisters had gotten one so I just had to have one too. I was a 34B so about average. Made an apt for a consultation with a fabulously recommended ps. I told her I wanted to end up a C cup in the end. Fast forward to after the surgery and all the swelling is down only to discover I was a full D cup. Much bigger than anticipated. Fast forward again thru getting married, gaining a few unwanted pounds, and having my son in 2008....my boobs somehow managed to morph into DD's. I swear they were getting bigger by the second. In 2011, I was diagnosed with MS. To have MS is a giant pain in the rear, but to have MS and all the back pain associated with being top heavy was just over the top. So, I decided to look into getting my implants removed. At first I was thinking I'd get smaller ones put back in (I wanted to be the C cup I initially signed up for) but after meeting with a ps here in town, he informed me I just might have enough breast tissue to be a C without any implants. Sounds good to me! Because of all my sag, we decided I'd get the implants removed and have a lift as well. Yesterday was my surgery. What was suppose to be a 3 hour deal turned into a 5 hour surgery. Apparently my ps is a perfectionist and took longer than expected. I was super nervous about being put to sleep, as in I was a crying hot mess. But now that it's over, that really was the easy part. Sleeping on my back was horrid last nite! I'm such the tummy sleeper so this will be tough to get used too. My pain level has been moderate. I've been taking the pain med every 4 hours to stay on top of it though. I have a post op apt today so I'm super nervous to get a peek at what the girls look like. I've been too scared to peek up to this point! I'll post pics of the after as soon as I can!

Yesterday's post op went great! Dr Urban took the ace bandage off and I felt so much better! I took a peek in the mirror and even though they look slightly scary, they look great! The ps put me in an unattractive bra and told me to come back Monday to have drains removed.

So bloated still! I sent out the hubby to buy some stool softener as these pain meds have me super stuffed up. I need to shower today but I'm afraid to take the bra off and look. I know that sounds silly but I'm afraid of being disappointed or seeing something I don't want to. I know that's wierd. If I get brave enough to take my bra off later I'll post a pic.

Im sure its scary to take a look, but from the photo so far of you in the surgical bra it looks like you will have a nice natural result.
