WORTH IT
It's taken me a while to get up the courage to share on here...but.. here goes:
I've been married to a great guy for 44 yrs in August. I'm the mother of two. Our daughter weighed 8lbs13oz ..our son weighed 9lbs 12oz. My surgery date is on my son's 40th B-day so it's kinda a tummy rebirth celebration ;)). I'm also the Ama of 5 FANTASTIC g'kiddos! I'm having this surgery not to try to look like a young thing but to finally be comfortable in my own 62 yr old skin. I, like many others have had those clothes shopping days that leave you feeling frumpy and discouraged. But... Not any more! Nope.. Going to the flat side real soon ;)). I'm a breast cancer survivor of 13 years so I'm hoping if I made it through the mastectomy and reconstruction that I will be able to make it through the tummy tuck and arm lift just fine.
My surgery will be done by Dr Steven Vath. I had a phone consult with him first and felt really comfortable with him. I booked my surgery the next day ;)). My husband wanted me to have a face to face consult with Dr Vath as well so that I did and liked him even more!!! He's honest as to what he is able to accomplish and his bedside manner is the best!!
His staff is very friendly and professional. I've had the pleasure of working with Kari F. Dr Vath's patient counselor and Jen A. Dr Vath's RN. I'm so grateful for those two amazing ladies!!!
Okay, so my countdown is 12 days away.. yikers!!! Excited, nervous and optimistic all wrapped up in one :))
Stay tuned......
