Dr. Vath is the Best!! - Golden, CO

For my 50th Birthday (in 4 months) I wanted to feel and look better than I have in the past 10 years. My youngest was off to college and it was time to start taking better care of me. I changed my diet, started a consistent exercise routine and 8 months later I was in better shape then I had been for a long while. But no matter what, that stubborn belly wouldn't go away. A lot of my friends thought I was crazy for even considering surgery, saying I looked great (5'9" 140lbs) but I just wasn't happy with my overall appearance. After a consult with Dr. Vath for what I planned would be liposuction, I got an very honest assessment from him. However, a Tummy Tuck was the last thing I had even thought about because I thought that belly was just stubborn fat. Anyway, after thinking about it for about 3 weeks I decided that I would either live with it or make the change I had wanted for years. So I made the choice to go for it and when I told my husband he suggested I might as well go for the full look. The decision was made. I booked my appointment, arranged for some time off work and took the plunge. I am now 10 days post op and feeling great. I can't believe I waited so long and now I can't stop talking about how it was such a great decision. I know that so much of that is because of the excellent care and results I received from Dr. Vath and his staff.

I am now 23 days post op and I am still completely happy. I have not have any problems with anything and I love everything I see, flat stomach, boobs, scar and belly button. Everyday now things just get a little bit better. I would say that day 13-18 were the worst since I think my mind was back to normal and so you expect your body to be there too, which obviously isn't the case. I really don't have any more pain. The worst part now is the tightness in my abdomen which isn't painful but can be very uncomfortable.

Here are a couple of pics so you can see the great work of Dr. Vath! I can't imagine having to deal with drains. The no drain Tummy Tuck was the way to go! Still a little swollen in the after pics but not too bad.

So I thought I would post a few pictures showing my results at 6 months since so many of us post right after and then never again. And I am always curious to know if they are still happy and how they feel about their results then. I wanted to let all you guys looking at Dr. Vath for your surgery that I'm even more convinced that he is one of the best in the country, not just Colorado. I am still completely happy, never had any regrets and absolutely love my results. The pictures tell it all and his skill is so evident looking at my belly button and scar.
