I had a tummy tuck with Dr. Vath this last December and was so happy with the results I went ahead and had my 10-year old breast implants removed in combination with a lift in in July. I could not be happier with the results; I wish I’d done this all 10 years ago! Everything about the experience in the Golden surgery center was very professional and I felt completely comfortable. I was nervous for surgery, of course, but Dr. Vath and his staff made me feel confident. I’m not someone who wants to keep getting surgery (face etc) but after kids and 3-sections my tummy and breasts needed help and I was sad about my body every day. I feel complete now and everyone comments how great I look. Like I said, I wish I’d done this a long time ago.

Thank you for sharing your story. Dr. Vath is also my PS. He’s absolutely wonderful! I had an implant downsize and lift with him; sometimes I wonder if it might’ve been better to have just had an explant like you did. Do you mind sharing what size the implants were that you explanted? Did you have to use drains postoperatively? It would be nice to see before/after pics if you have any to share. I had 330 ccs removed and I came out as a 36D with natural tissue. I’m sorry I don’t have photos except the ones they took in the office.

I’m SO glad I didn’t do an implant. They are lifted beautifully and I never should have done an implant in the first place, I should have done a lift.

I saw my befores and they looked so gross, drooping and matronly. Now they’re athletic and perky.

Also, I did have drains because they needed to close the cavity where the implant was. They were uncomfortable but now that I’m 7 weeks out I could care less, with it!
