After nursing two babies, my breasts were totally...
After nursing two babies, my breasts were totally deflated. I could barely fit into an A cup, and there was always a great deal of space in the bra between my skin and the padding. I felt uncomfortable wearing a bikini top, and felt it was impacting my confidence on a daily basis. I wanted to be back to my normal pre-baby breasts which was a full B/small C.
I made it very clear to Dr. Wolfe that I wanted to continue being active (lifting weights, running, pull-ups, kettle bell swings, etc) and did not want to be noticeably larger. Dr. Wolfe's office let me come in several times to check out the different sizes, and walked me through how I would look with different sizes (225cc vs 275cc). I ended up going with textured silicone 275cc and am now a 36C/34D. My concern was not wanting a lift, so I knew I needed to go with a size large enough to fill out my sagging skin. I am so glad I did not choose smaller than 275CC.
I was working out with lower body weights and bicycle at 3 weeks, and was back to crossfit training at 6 weeks (of course listening to my body and taking it easy). Upper body strength was completely back after 3 months, and no pain with pull-ups or push-up, overhead olympic lifts, etc at 12 weeks out. I am so delighted with the outcome, and have not regretted the procedure at all. Dr. Wolfe listened to me, and worked with me to find the right size.
As for the procedure- I had a late afternoon appt- total surgery time was about 90 minutes, and I was home in no time. That night and day after were uncomfortable, but by the end of the third day, I was driving and cooking dinner for my family. I highly recommend Dr. Wolfe, and would not hesitate to go back to him for any future needs. Hardest part of the entire process was putting down the deposit to hold the date. I am so glad I did.
