They feel like my own and I love how natural yet beautiful they look :)

I'm absolutely thrilled with my results. They feel like my own teeth and I think they look really natural, only perfect! Haha. Most of the discomfort has gone away. It's only when I have very cold food (like frozen coke :P), I get some sensitivity in the front but it's much better than it was. I really love the shape of my top teeth. I love how my front 2 are slightly longer than the 2nd ones. I think it gives me a young and feminine looking smile. Teeth are so worth it. People complain about the expense but I think this is one of the best investments you can make in yourself if you're self-conscious about your smile. I added some more photos. Ignore the ugly floral pyjama shirt! Hahaha

There is a photo of my teeth before any work in the first set of images. It's a before and after of my old veneers. I cringe looking at this photo! I don't really have any others because I hated my smile at that point. The only other ones I have are of when I was younger before there was any enamel loss. Also, you can see my top arch is wider with veneers but this is because my bite is f**ked. They needed to broaden my upper jaw. I think a lot of people freak out that their veneers are going to look big but a good dentist will just make them fit your face and bite. In my case, I had a crossbite, underbite and open bite and bringing my top teeth out really improved my smile. If you talk to Anthony about your concerns and what you do/don't want, he listens.

Your smile is beautiful. The cost is very reasonable. In the U.S. veneers are expensive; for one tooth it can be as high as $1,500.

Thank you :) it's actually the same here in Australia! That's why I travelled to Queensland to have mine done with this particular dentist. His results are amazing and he uses the same high quality materials (eMax porcelain) but charges 1/3 of the price! They have their own local lab, which reduces the cost quite a bit. Also, Anthony only does smile makeovers so he's able to charge such a good price and still make a decent profit. I was very sceptical at first as the price was too good to be true but I'm so glad I took the chance. They were fantastic and I'm thrilled with the outcome. :)

I am so amazed. At only 20 I am seeiny horrible decay from 7 years of bulimia. I was under the impression it would cost an upwards of 15 k to restore my smile once it gets to be too embarrassing, but it is awesome to see such great results for that price!
Is the cost lower because no prep? Also, do you feel any pain or anxiety about the minimal alterations to your natural teeth for the veneer? I am extremely Ocd and nervous I might be able to feel how fake they are in my mouth and maybe my natural teeth peaking through.
Thank you in advance. :,) The anxiety.

Hey! They aren't no-prep. They are traditional veneers and eMax is the strongest porcelain out there. The reason it was so much cheaper than other places is because the dentist is trying to deter people from going overseas so has signed up with cosmeditour to make it more affordable. Also, they have their own lab, which cuts down the costs significantly. Thirdly, he only does smile makeovers so if he does several of these cases a week, he can afford to reduce the cost. Does that make sense? Also, the fact he he deals with so many of these cases each day, means that he's very experienced and capable of producing amazing results. Compare that to a general dentist who charges an arm and a leg and might only do a couple of cases a year!

Forgot to answer your question! Haha. They feel strange at first but you quickly get used to them. Mine just feel like my own teeth now. You will always need to be careful biting into apples and things (I don't bite into apples!). You can still eat all of the foods you like, you just need to be mindful of how much pressure you're putting onto the veneers. I prefer to cut things into pieces rather than tear them with my teeth now. I just don't want to risk it so I'd rather be cautious than chip a tooth! I remember being in your position too :( I was terrified of losing my teeth and not being able to afford proper treatment. I had extensive decay at a young age from my eating disorder too. I had my first set of veneers placed at just 21. They were no-prep and quite affordable compared to traditional veneers. They were still porcelain though so they didn't stain or anything. But over time, there was a small amount of staining in the margins where my natural tooth met the veneer. That doesn't happen so much with prepped veneers. I hope you can find the strength to overcome your bulimia. I spent 10 years in hell with my disorder and I didn't think I'd ever be able to overcome it but I did. It didn't happen overnight. It was gradual with several relapses in between. I found that once I started focussing on other things in my life (for me, that meant obsessing), the eating disorder started to take a back seat until I eventually, I realised I didn't need it anymore. I hope you can find the same peace. X

Thank you so much! I have fully recovered and now am just dealing with the guilt of what I did to myself, haha. I totally appreciate your response, I feel significantly less afraid now. Honestly, I might look into your dentist! I want veneers that keep my snaggle-tooth because it makes me feel cute... I hope he would be able to do that. :,)
Thanks so much.

Pretty :)

Thank you :) I'm really happy with how they've turned out. The pain is mostly gone now too. I just get a bit of an achy jaw sometimes after a meal or after I've brushed and flossed but it's not too bad.

Where did you do it?? Love the result

BL2 with white cement to help block out the colour of the dentin underneath. :) That was what Anthony recommended.

Lowers Inserted Today :)
Olive87December 23, 2016
So I just had my lowers inserted this morning. I'm really happy with how they look. I was in a bit of pain for a while but over the counter codeine (panadeine extra) really seems to help. My bite is off because my jaws are malaligned so when I upload the photos showing my lower teeth they will look a little lopsided. However, you can't notice this when I'm talking and smiling. The dentist did the best with what he was given (my crazy messed up bite haha). I've taken some photos in different lighting. Some are outside, some inside and some with my iphone and some on my computer.

Nice. I do not notice any lopsided-ness.
Do you think you'll have to redo all if these in 8 years again?
What do the inside of your veneers look like?
My front two are veneered and the natural tooth gets excessive plaque buildup because of the ledge between the veneer and natural tooth. Uhhhggg

Well, the middle 6 up top are crowned so they should last a lot longer (20 years dentist said if they're looked after). But the veneers I'll just have to see. Mind you, my no prep veneers had staining around the margins whereas these ones were prepped so the staining should be at the backs where you can't see it. Also, the dentist said my gum recession was largely because of my age and my jaw was still developing. Also, it wasn't too bad. If you take good care of your teeth, you can prevent gum recession. My previous veneers didn't actually look that bad. I easily could've kept them. I was just being particular and I wanted the bottom to match so decided to do away with the non-prep and go for traditional veneers. Apparently emax are an extremely strong brand of porcelain so I hope they last a while! But the way I look at it, it's cheaper than replacing or upgrading a car!

So give me some pricing
January 11, 2017
The price is in the initial post. It was $600 per tooth for the porcelain crowns and veneers. It was $12300 (roughly, can't remember exact figure) for all 20 teeth including the consult and grinding guard. Grinding guard was a few hundred dollars from memory.
Was just wondering why you booked through cosmeditour? Was it cheaper than just booking directly with White Bite???
I'm going to make an app after seeing your results & looking at their website :)
Do you have any pics of your smile before any work was done?
