There's still some swelling on one side and some days the columella hangs too low. I did ask him to keep some of it, as I didn't want it to be flat. But, hopefully, due to swelling, it hangs lower than ide like. Very happy overall though.

So I made the 4 week mark yay! I'm still super happy. It's obviously still swollen, but I keep telling myself I have another 11-18 months left of recovery :)
The columella is hanging a little lower than ide prefer, but apparently this is due to swelling. Hopefully reduces over time. I wanted a bit left anyway, as I didn't want it to look upturned. Anyone had experience with the healing of this part?
All in all, so so happy with the change!

I LOVE your results! Beautiful, and I really like the look of your columella, it keeps the uniqueness of your nose and looks great!

Keeping some of the columella was a smart move. I think it's such a beautiful part of the nose. So feminine. Most lift that and end up really regretting it. They end up with too much. Space between the nose and lip. I have seen some horrible stories on here from some really distraught girls who didn't realize how much that counts. Your result is one of the best of G's next to my other favorite axxx04 :-)

Awww you're so sweet. Thank you!! Yeah I'm very happy hey. I was reading one last night about a girl who had hers done (looked great by the way) and then went for a second Coz there was a slight bump after 6 months, then it recovered uneven, so she had a 3rd and now it's huge. Hasn't reduced in size after a year. Poor thing. Wasn't dr g's, but her advice was to not be a perfectionist. Dr G is amazing hey!!

Oh my gosh how traumatizing. I agree .. Little small dent or bump is not worth the risk. I've tried to talk so many girls out of it. You just get into a web of mess . It's sad

I think if it's an improvement to your original nose, and not botched, should be happy with your surgery. It's not good to be a perfectionist with plastic surgery, because nothing is perfect :)

thanks so much ladies.. I think the key was getting him to keep a bit of my columella hanging. If he didn't, it would have looked too upturned and different. I don't think that nose would have suited my face, as I have a long face. Im extremely happy I went through with it. Years of insecurity gone... I noticed that when I was sitting in the car with my boyfriend, I didn't care about him looking at my side profile. I used to put my hand up to my nose. I know that sounds crazy.. but for some reason, I just used to be so insecure about it. The confidence I feel now about it, is like day and night. Definitely worth it, in my opinion.

I'm so happy for you! I have that same insecurity feelings. I'm so excited and worried about getting my rhino, i dont wanna end up regretting the nose job but seeing yours gives me so much hope! I wanted to ask him to keep some of my columella hanging also since i have a longer face, would you also recommend this? Also was he very cooperative with you and listening to what you want done?
