I scheduled a rhinoplasty with Dr G for December. I'm extremely nervous, but I'm trying to put my nerves aside since this is something I've wanted for a long time. I feel like I couldn't have picked a better Dr. I'm 100% confident with his work, just really nervous about the anesthetic. I've never had surgery before. Any tips/advice are welcome here! :) I just posted a couple of pics of a "before and after" using the PS simulator app.

Hi, your pics look great (you have beautiful hair by the way)! If you are 100% confident in your doctor there really is nothing to worry about - anaesthetics are used thousands of times per day all over the world and they are so safe! What concerns you especially about it?

Honestly I know I'm probably just being irrational. I'm always terrified of the thought of anesthetic awareness, or waking up during surgery (it's happened to people in my family) I know it's all really rare but I've just never been under

The first time I was put under was to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Then I went under for another surgery and I was really scared both times but both times I woke up just fine without any nausea or anything. I actually felt great like I had never been out. You won't remember anything. It will feel like nothing ever happened. I was like "what we're done already?" It's always a little nerve racking but there really isn't anything to be worried about. Good luck with your operation and I'll be following your story. I have a consultation with Dr. Grigoryants in November.

I know that makes it scary, particularly if you have known someone that's had that happen to them. The best way to look at it is this - is it going to stop you having the op? If not, just push it to the back of your mind! If it makes you feel better my mum (very prone to surgery for health reasons sadly) has never had a problem, she even looks forward to it now and says it's just like a good long sleep! You will be okay, try not to stress to much :)

Hi, We are going to have a surgery on the same day. I scheduled mine two weeks ago for December 30. Super excited even now 7 months before the sugery. Good luck.

Ahh so exciting! I already have a countdown app on my phone for it! Trying to enjoy life in the meantime and not let it consume my mind since its so far out lol!

I am also scheduled with dr. G for 30 :) Pre-op on 29, because I am coming from Europe.

I LOVE the after morph! I just had surgery with Dr. G and I was WAY out. :) Dr. G spoke very highly of his anesthesiologist and strongly stated that he would recommend him to his family! I hope that helps..... Relax and focus on WHY you're going through with this surgery! Dr. G has a great eye for creating a balanced, aesthetically pleasing face through rhinoplasty.
