Sorry to hear your not happy. Maybe u need a collumela graft to help hold up your tip. Did dr g perform an alar reduction on you?

From what I have been told about 5% of patients need a small revision...from the looks of it maybe you will need a minor tip revision. Since your a man he was maybe more conservative since a small tip on a man can look too feminine. I think Dr. G will be happy to help you if your still unhappy after a year. My surgery is not until feb 2015 and it can not come fast enough!!!

I think your desired looking nose looks more for a woman than a guy and your new nose doesn't look bad at all. If I saw a nose like your new one on a woman I would say it should probably be a little be more upturned but for a guy this looks pretty good. I am positive if you need it revised Dr. G will do it for you. I would speak to him. However be prepared that he will make you wait 1 year and don't try to jump under the knife sooner, you really do need one year to get a revision.

I hear this a lot. To me there is no difference in the perfect angle of a nose between men and women, the difference is only in the curvature. Ill upload a picture to clarify what i mean

Honestly, you seem like someone who shouldn't be getting repetitive nose jobs, the differences your talking about are so minuscule. This seems to me like your preoccupied and I am a plastic s addict type.

I feel like I am the only person on here that is dissatisfied with the result of rhinoplasty with Dr G. I wanted my tip raised and in fact its a a little more droopy. He says its due to my thick skin and scar tissue from 3 previous surgeries. I think thats a factor but shouldnt have come out this way. He says he did all he could, but I think he didn't manipulate my cartilages at all he only sowed the tip up and so the result didn't last long.

Sorry for your disappointment. At 4 months it's still early to judge your results especially if this was a revision. I am over 6 months post revision and still have swelling. So just give it a little longer for things to fall into place. Be well.

Dear zooster,
I get your point, and with some things it really improves when all the swelling is gone and u see definition, but in the case of a droopy tip the swelling won't change much.

Thank you now I see exactly what your compliant is yes I agree with you your tip is still drooping a little bit the desired result was perfect resembles your nose so much surprised he did not acheive that result! I hope everything works out try not to stress on it though good luck! Your still fabulous :-)

After having had my nose done by Prof. Sailer in switzerland before, then by Dr. G, I have now got my nose done again for the second time by Professor Sailer in Switzerland and i am finally rather happy with the result. This was my 5th nose job. It is a huge difference, the tip and columella are much higher. From the side my nose looks amazing, so small and cute, but from the front, i guess because of all the scar tissue it looks rather wide. And also, very strangely, 5 weeks after the nose job, the muscle of the right nostril stopped working, so if i kind of flex and open my nostrils only the left one widens which then looks very uneven. I cant even fit my finger in the right nostril cause its so tight and stiff, when in the left one i can like before. But overall im much happier with my nose now than before. Im probably gonna get an injection to promote tip projection, because i have a graft thats more on the left side so on the right it needs a little more projection. I think after that, if the muscle started working again my nose would be pretty perfect.
