How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

3 and 1/2 Month Update
Hello Everyone! It's been a while, but i'm back to update.
Everything has gone pretty smoothly since my procedure. Healing has been an
interesting process. Swelling is different every day but I have accepted it and don't pay much
attention to it any more. A few weeks ago my husband elbowed me in the face (on accident in his sleep) which resulted in lots of tears and blood.. The next day my son hit me in the face with his bat and the same day in the evening my daughter head butted me in the face. REALLY GUYS, I can't make this up.. Needless to say- I went and saw Dr. G to make sure everything was OK. THANKFULLY, it was. Just lots of blood and lots of swelling. My breathing is still GREATLY improved. I have way less headaches and overall just feel better in my day to day life. I am still 100% satisfied with my decision and with choosing Dr. Grigoryants as my surgeon.
I hope you all are well!!!
xx

Hello, Some of you may know me already as I...
Hello,
Some of you may know me already as I previously had a review that was deleted for privacy reasons. I had rhinoplasty with Dr. Grigoryants in Glendale, CA on May 30, 2017.
I have had breathing issues since I was born and have had other minor nasal surgeries in the past to try to fix my issues. I also have sleep apnea and have had many sleep studies and endless treatments for that. I consulted with Dr. Grigoryants and decided to use him as my surgeon.
Surgery day went extremely smooth. I arrived at the surgery center at 630 AM. The staff was lovely and got me back to the room to prep me very promptly. Everyone was warm and full of smiles. I was rather nervous but all the sweet staff quickly put me at ease. Dr. G came and spoke with me before surgery and once again reassured me that everything would go great. And, everything did! In a little over two hours I was back in recovery. Pain waking up was 7/10 VERY BRIEFLY. They quickly got me the medication I needed to bring my pain down and all was well. About an hour after surgery I was on my way home which is about a 2 hour drive. Zero issues. No pain. No nausea. We had to stop one time to change my drip pad then I was home and happy.
Recovery- pain is almost non-existent. Discomfort is the best way to describe recovery. Very uncomfortable, but completely manageable. I basically spent all recovery icing my face and resting. Icing is key guys! ICE ICE ICE! I got my cast off at 5 days PO. The removal was not fun but very quick. Splints coming out was nothing, I actually hardly even felt it. (I had plastic splints/not packing) When my cast came off, I CRIED. My nose was SO swollen, I looked like I had a huge potato on my face. Though, I could IMMEDIATELY breathe out of both my nostrils for the first time IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Talk about exciting!
After cast removal- I could hardly look at myself in the mirror because my nose was so swollen. Day 6 & 7 my swelling moved into my cheeks and I could not even recognize myself. This was probably the hardest part for me. The mental/emotional part of this surgery is very real. Crying will probably happen. Don't expect to get your cast off and have everything be rainbows and butterfly's. BUT, IT GETS BETTER.
Today/12 days PO- Swelling has come down SIGNIFICANTLY. All swelling is gone in my face. My nose is definitely still swollen but is looking wonderful. The tip of my nose is hard as a rock (swelling). I can still breathe out of both nostrils 100%, which is a complete miracle. Still taping every night and occasionally for a bit during the day depending on swelling. I am completely satisfied with my decision to undergo this surgery with Dr. Grigoryants. I have a two month post op in August and will update again soon.
