Wow 16 months post op!
WORTH IT$10,500
Wow! I can’t believe it’s been over 16 months since my nose surgery. I’m reflecting back to myself pre-surgery and I remember being so nervous about all of the what-ifs and having so many questions. I’m so grateful to this community for sharing their experiences and helping me make one of the biggest and best decisions of my life.
Overall experience-
1-3 months- what did I do?!!! Will the swelling ever go down?
3-6 months- ????I look human again! I like my nose some days and hate it the next. It’s a love-hate relationship, but I can see the transformation.
6-9 months- ?? I’m feeling cute! Swelling has gone down a lot!
9-12 months: ???? take mypicture!
12+ ???? my nose is no longer my “new” nose it’s just my nose! Which is a great feeling!
I’ve included updated photos and a short clip of a video selfie I took a few weeks ago, which to point out, I would have never done before because my nose would have been the focus of the camera!! Ha.
So happy I was able to share my journey with you! I hope that’s it’s helped you with yours! Reach out if you have any questions!!

Before and After 10 month PO
This before and after is everything!!!
I know I have an open smile in my before and closed smile in the after, but if you just look at my nose you will see a huge difference!!!!!!!
My nose is significantly straighter and much more narrow.
For those of you early on in the first few months of post op—the swelling goes down significantly. I know it’s hard not to freak out, but try your hardest to be patient. The first 3 months were the hardest for me, but I’m nearing a year since surgery and couldn’t be happier with my results!

Thank you for the update. You look gorgeous! At this point I think you will look great in any dress and any color. You probably will look good with a shaved head too.

Thank you! It's scheduled for March 26th, which is a little over a year out from our wedding day. I'm so excited/nervous!

Wow, your results are incredible!

Looks great! Your results are amazing :) I’m about 3 weeks post op and still can’t smile normally. You can hardly see my top teeth. Did you have to deal with that?

Hi! Thanks so much! My smile was stiff for a little over a month. I remember it being hard to control my upper lip muscle for some time. Hopefully by now your smile is back, at month 2 my swelling was still apparent, but slowly going down!

10-11month PO and wedding dress shopping!!
Hello friends! I promised myself I would follow through with posting post op updates, so here is another! :) My swelling continues to go down. I can’t tell from day to day but when I look at photos from month 6 compared to today, I can see a change! Honestly, at month 6 I would have been happy with the results if those were final!
For those who read post 1, you may remember the catalyst for my nose surgery was when my fiancé proposed! I knew I wanted my nose to be healed before walking down the aisle! My family and I recently visited Kleinfeld in New to find my dream dress! The entire experience was emotional for me! Trying on wedding dresses with my new nose made it so real! I’m soooo happy I went through with my surgery and grateful for Dr.Grigoryants for making my nose look feminine! And yes, I said YES to the dress!!!!!!!!!
Also, here are a couple of fun things that I’ve noticed since my surgery;
1. I can now wear red lipstick!!! My nose was to large pre-surgery and red lipstick always made me look manly..lol! I’m really enjoying playing with different shades of red!
2. My hair looks cute in a pony tail! Pre-surgery I hated pulling my hair back because it would bring so much attention to my nose!
I realize my update jumps through a few topics, but I had so much to share with my RealSelf fam!!
As always, I’m happy to answer questions if you have any at all! :)

Your posts have been SO helpful, thank you! I am also getting rhinoplasty before getting married. It was so important to me to love and enjoy my time instead of worrying about my 'good angles'. Your nose looks phenomenal and congrats on finding your dress! :)

YAY!! Congratulations! I absolutely agree, I want to be care free and enjoy the moment without worrying about the photographer catching my bad side.
Thank you for the love!!! Best of luck to you on your journey!!
