I am actually feeling quite well but the bruising has been more persistent than I had hoped. I was looking forward to a big reveal tomorrow night but maybe not.

Cast Off
What a relief to have the cast off yesterday. Dr G was quick and efficient and the discomfort was minimal. However I am still very bruised and do not want to post pics yet and scare anyone. My boyfriend and I went to lunch immediately after and I did get lots of stares. He was glad I had tape on my nose so people would not think he did this to me! He makes me laugh quite a bit so we looked quite joyful together as well ( he even made Dr. G laugh) . So about the nose. It is so much smaller than what I had. That's not a bad thing but It takes some getting used to thats for sure. As soon as the bruising that remains around my eyes and cheeks and some that has now migrated to my lower face resolves I will post. I am still taking tylenol but only 1 tabs now for pressure and discomfort.
Thanks to all of you for your detailed updates that I can refer back to and feel confident I am on the right track.

So glad to hear it went well! I feel like the "smallness" takes awhile to get used to for sure. I went through a phase around 3 weeks where I was upset about it, but it passed. It just really takes awhile to adjust to a new look in the middle of your face. Happy healing and thanks for the update!
Thank you for your feedback. i had a moment last night when I said "What have you done!!" regarding my decision to do this not the result. Then I remembered all the things I have read here that I would indeed feel this way and it too shall pass along with the swelling.
Yes, your nose will continue to keep changing every couple of days. I didn't like my nose when i first took the cast off, but it was due to the swelling so it made it look weird. I'll become more and more defined day by day. Make sure you keep icing it, this will help with the swelling. Happy healing. :)
Glad everything went well for you! Your new look will take some time to get used to as I am finding out...every time I pass a mirror I expect to see my old self.
Looking forward to your pics. Don't be embarrassed to post...that is what this forum is for.

Congratulations!!! I can't wait to see your pictrures

As you know, today I am 3 weeks out. Everyday is different. Today my nose started out really numb, and as I have read from other reviews, the swelling really has a mind of it's own....some days better than others.
Continue to take good care of yourself!
