The Truth About Dr Grigoryants

Hi all,
I'm exactly 3 weeks post-op and wanted to share my experience having rhinoplasty with Dr Grigoryants. The truth is he's amazing!!.
I have had a very positive experience right from the start when I decided to contact Dr Grigoryants from Australia for an email consultation. He quickly responded to my email, outlining his rhinoplasty recommendations. He then followed up with a lengthy telephone conversation with me and answered all my questions. I particularly liked the fact that over 90 per cent of his surgeries are rhinoplasty, and that he performs around 16 rhinoplasties per week. Fast forward a few months, I travelled from Australia to LA for surgery. Sitting in his waiting room and completing all the forms I started getting nervous and wondered why I was doing this procedure. However, as soon as I met Dr Grigoryants in person, all my nerves flew out of the window. He took his time during my pre-op consultation and again explained everything that was going to be done the following day. He ensured that we were on the same page in terms of the changes I wanted - hump shaved, bridge narrowed, tip slightly lifted and defined, and my air ways opened. I went back to my airbnb that night feeling assured and in safe hands.
My surgery the next day went very smoothly. His entire team at Glendale Adventist were very friendly and assured me that he is the best. I woke up feeling no pain. The next day I was pleased that I did not have any swelling and just some bruising under my eyes. The only annoying thing was that I was bleeding a fair bit and had to change my gauze every hour. Also sleeping the first few nights is difficult, and my throat was very dry and sore.
Day 2 and 3 were the worst. My eyes became very swollen. I did not ice my face very often and wish that I had. By Day 5 the swelling subdued from my eyes and moved down to my cheeks and lips. I also had my cast removed on Day 5 - it was very quick and painless. I was very swollen, but both Dr Grigoryants and myself were very pleased with the result.
Day 6 - The avatar look. The day following cast removal my nose became incredibly swollen. My nose looked very wide and I definitely rocked the avatar look. Despite looking awful, I was well aware that this would be the case and that with time the swelling would go down. Day 7 I noticed these lumps inside my nostrils which were very sore. I emailed Dr Grigoryants and he wrote back in less than 10 minutes saying that it was swollen skin and that it would shrink.
Day 14 - It was not until 2 weeks post-op that the avatar look started to fade and I became more comfortable in social settings. The swollen skin also shrank, just as Dr Grigoryants noted. Also my nose leaks ceased.
Day 21 - My nose is still very swollen, but looking incredibly better as each day passes. I am now able to breathe out of my nose and I have my smile back which I am very happy about. I am still taping my nose every night and sleeping elevated - if I don't I find my nose is very swollen in the morning.
Overall, I am extremely pleased that I had rhinoplasty, and even more pleased that I chose Dr Grigoryants. He is truly a master in his field and knows noses incredibly well! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering rhinoplasty.

Hi everyone, just thought I'd provide a quick update and some pics. I'm almost 5 months post op and absolutely loving my new nose. It is taking a long time for the swelling to go down, but I've recently started seeing some definition. Again, very glad I went with Dr G!
