I had a consultation with Dr.G this afternoon to discuss my concerns. I arrived early and they got me in right away. Love the staff, they are very friendly! Dr.G was very honest and told me that my bridge looked good and my tip could not be refined anymore, he also said there was no hang to my columella. I expected to get the works done but I really trust his expertise. I am feeling a little bummed but I am glad I found an honest doctor about what can be done. He said he will perform an alar base reduction (narrowing of nostrils) it's an in office procedure and there is no down time. Looking forward to see the change but I'm afraid I may never be happy with my nose! I need to be grateful for small improvements!

Was your primary rhinoplasty performed by another surgeon or Dr G??

I totally hear you about being bummed. When he told me there was only so much he could do because of my thick skin I felt the same way. Rather that than false hope any day though! Keep us posted, he's definitely an honest doctor!

I agree! Honesty is better than false hope. I need to be happy with small improvements!

Yes I love his honesty! Most other surgeons would give you the works regardless!! I'm scheduled with him in July and he told me my nose wasn't bad but I said I wanted a nice nose not one that isn't bad lol so he agreed to help me. However in your case I must agree with Dr G because I would pay to have your nose over mine!! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to following your journey.
