Finally getting my nose done!!!
I have been contemplating of getting my nose done since 2012 been to many consultations just to see what the dr would say and most of them told me i dont need it, but i dont like my nose as it is fat and wide from the tip. In pictures my left and right profile is good But my front i dont like.

Thanks for asking surgery went great now Im on day 3 luckily i dont have any bruising didnt even have to ice my face much. DR G told me he wasnt going to work on my bone because it didnt need any work just the tip and where the nose gets a Little wide in the front. Im thinking thats why i didnt get any bruising and get swollen.
A little update on my surgery day..my surgery was over in 45 mins when i woke up i just felt a burning sensation in my nose and not any pain.. The nurse just told me to take the pain killers as needed and to have a light diet on day 1 and resume to as normal on day 2. I was surprised to hear that because i thought i will be on soup and liquid diet for a week. When i got home i was a little uncomfortable sitting and sleeping in an angle position. My neck and throat has been hurting being in that positon for couple or days. Im able to go to the bathroom on my own and eat and drink. Walk around a little no feeling of nausea headaches or bleeding..But i cant wait to get the splint out just to finally see how my nose is looking.. Will defintely post some before and after pictures. Cant wait to see how it looks kind of nervous and scared ..

I just want to say dr G is very busy now and he doesnt have much time to spend.. but make sure u tell Him what u want and not wht he thinks tell him how u want ur nostrils, tip, length thickness of ur nose.. Take pictures with u tell him what u think will suit u and then obviously take his pointers i had told him what i wanted but i went more with his instinct because of his experience and all his before/after..
but after a year if my nose doesnt Turn out how i have imagined it or how i wouldve liked it to be then we will have a discussion at tht point... I knw its only day 7 and maybe im just getting scared or apprehensive but im hoping it will get better with time atleast im praying...
Please post pictures of your progress so those who have gone through this procedure can offer advice.
Hopefully soon you will see great results! Happy healing!
As for your comment about Dr.G being too busy, I have read many comments lately about him not spending much time to answer questions and many patients feel rushed during consultations and that worries me. If I have surgery, I would definitely like to know I can reach out to the doctor or someone capable of addressing my concerns. I don't know if he has any nurse assistant but if he doesn't, he should definitely hire one to help him manage patient's questions.
