Hey guys I think I'm about 6+ weeks out of surgery with dr. G and I just wanna say I'm definitely happy with my results and it's only going to keep getting better, yay!!
Most things are back to normal, I was experiencing a bit of dripping from my nose that lasted longer than I thought I would but it could just be because it's cold here and I had a persistent cold, not sure but there's no drip now since about last week.
My nose still feels a little stiff and I get lots of boogies coming out of it still. Had some pretty big scabs come out which I didn't know happened lol.
Hardly anyone has really noticed or if they have they've been too polite to let me know haha. Not even my mum noticed at first :D

Inlove with the side view ! It's amazing what a couple of changes can make :O super swollen from the front, hopefully I will love the front as much as the side soon enough :)
Also can't wait to get my smile back. My top lip feels super tight and I feel like if I try smile to big my nose is going to pop off my face lol!!
But so far so good. THANKYOU DR. G!

Cast off day 5
MissD1994July 10, 2018
Went in to get my cast off today. I think I must have a low pain threshold because I've read mostly that cast off day isn't painful. Not trying to scare anyone but omg the stitch removal part had me in tears lol. I'd suggest definitely taking a pain pill before you go in if you have a lower pain threshold like me. The actual cast removing part didn't actually hurt but it wasn't comfortable and then he pressed on my nose and that hurt.
I felt such relief when he took out the splints from inside my nose. The foul smell id been smelling for the past 2 days was pretty much gone when he took those out thank god (I don't know how I'd cope another day smelling what my nose smelt like, maybe it was so bad because I vomited after surgery sorry tmi but yeah it was disgusting and I was not prepared for it). I instantly felt less claustrophobic and and was able to get some of the gunk out.
Appointment was very rushed, dr G was about an hour behind. He quickly showed me how to tape my nose up and then I was all done. I was a bit disappointed that he didn't show me how to wash the inside of my nose, there was so much gunk in there when I left the centre.
If anyone's got any tips on cleaning out all the boogies and dry blood safely then please let me know :)
Let me know what you guys think !!
I definitely see the improvement and love how it doesn't look super fake or anything. So far I'm loving it. I hope I love it just as much throughout the rest of my healing process :)
I will upload some more pics without the tape on later
