Hi everyone!
I'm having my nose done soon so I thought I should stop procrastinating and get this profile up already. Reading the reviews and stories of others has helped me beyond belief so I wanted to take the time to share my experience in the hopes that it may help someone out there as well.
So far I've had the initial consultation and the pre-op(my fees have been paid) with Dr G. I decided to schedule the procedure in December of last year and I was given a date in July.. I asked to be put on the wait list in case of a cancellation so now I'm scheduled to have the procedure done on April 13. (Yay)
So far so good. I don't have any complaints. The office gals are very professional even though they are very busy! (They are all beautiful as well [just an observation]) There was a bit of a wait for both appointments but that doesn't bother me. The doctor is to the point and honest, which I appreciate. He took the time to answer my questions and even draw diagrams to help illustrate what he was talking about. He immediately knew what was of concern with my nose without me having said anything, which I found comforting.
I suppose both meetings with him where rather brief but that was more of my doing since I didn't have a million questions or concerns.. I did my research and I like to be to the point as well.
I love his work and trust his eye, but as the date approaches I find myself becoming nervous about my decision. I hate my nose but I don't hate my face and worry that something bad might become something worse.
My nose is too wide and has a large hump.. There was a time that my nose fit my face but not anymore. It's grown too large and deformed in shape. Like so many others here, I hate taking pictures. I literally hide from the camera and I don't enjoy going to events. Its to the point I don't want to leave my house. And I feel like I'm missing out on life.
I just hope I don't regret this. *fingers crossed*
..I'll soon update with 'before' pics.. Thanks for reading :]
