Hi girls (and guys)!!
I have been religiously reading all of the reviews on real self for the past few weeks.. And after nearly a year of researching surgeons, I think I have finally made my decision! So I thought it was about time to put my thought in writing and hopefully help some others like you have all helped me! Oh and any tips and advice you can give me would also be sooo appreciated!
So basically I have thought about having primary rhinoplasty for a few years now, but those feelings have been on and off. It has only been in the last year and more recently the last couple of months that I have realised my heart is set on it.
I don't really trust any UK surgeons (although I have not met with any for consults) but just from past experience with doctors and from extensive research on plastic surgeons in the UK. I know I will definitely feel more at ease travelling to the US, as the surgeons certainly appear more specialised and rhinoplasty's are more common!
After all this research, I have thought I have found the perfect surgeon for me countless times, only to find one little thing that totally puts me off and having to start all over again.
This brings me to Dr Vladimir Grigoryants. I can't explain why, but I just have this positive feeling about him that I have not felt before. He just seems like the right fit for me and I don't think I will be able to find another surgeon that I can trust with my face any more!
As all of you know this is a huge and life decision, and will also be especially difficult for me having to travel such a long way. I am in no way taking this decision lightly and I have so many concerns and questions!!
I have emailed Dr Grigoryants with my photo's and he has replied with a similar response to other patient reviews I have read on real self. He stated that.. 'I agree reshaping the nose will improve facial balance. I would suggest removing ,deprojecting the nose, the bump and and refining the tip. I may need to narrow your nostrils as well.' I also enquired about the procedure for out of town patients which coincided with the out of town reviews.
There are also a few additional concerns I have (other than the standard putting my face in the hands of a total stranger worry), and if anyone could help me with any of them I will be eternally grateful!
1. I don't really know exactlyyyy how I want my nose. After reading a lot of reviews, many of you girls have known specifically what you want and want you don't want, and I am worried that I don't know this and therefore wouldn't be as pleased with me result. All I know is that I want my nose to look significantly better than it does now, making it smaller and removing the bump. I love Love love ???? all of Dr Grigoryants' noses and think all of you girls look stunning and Natural! I just want to be The Best possible version of Myself and I am Hoping That Grigoryants can achieve This.
2. As Of April 13th, I will Begin training for a Job that Will be fairly active. This worries me as I most Likely won't be Able To take a lot of Time off. Has anyone Else been In a similar situation as This? If So, how Did You overcome it Please!? I Really don't know what To Do as it will Be The Start of A New career, But I really don't want To wait years For a Rhinoplasty!
Sorry for such a long Post.. I think that Is All for now! I will Update if I Have any more News.. I am Currently just waiting On an email back From Dr Grigoryants' Office regarding the Wait time For Booking surgery.
I Have attached a Few (hideous) Photographs That I sent To Grigoryants, so You Can see what I am talking about! If anyone has already had Their surgery by him and Feels you may Have had a Similar nose To Me (unlucky For You But Hopefully you Love It Now!) I Would really Love to Hear from You!
