I had my rhinoplasty through Berkeley Square Medical (64 Harley Street) two years ago, I am very unhappy with the results and the aftercare has been terrible. My nose has a “scooped” and upturned look, disproportionate. with the septum bone uneven and visible in both nostrils. There is also a bump on one side.
My 3 month follow up appointment was cancelled by email only 16 hours before, I had already purchased advance tickets and was already on the train when I read the email.
This was rescheduled 2 months later, I arrived shortly before the 3.00pm appointment and had waited over an hour to be seen, while people who had arrived later than me were seen first. When I entered the room Mr Shoaib looked at me blank, he had no idea why I was there. He pointed out a bump and said it was just swelling and it would soon go (it hasn’t)
I made it known I was not happy with the results however understood this was only 5 months post-surgery so had hoped things would improve
Some months later I contacted the surgery and they invited me to go in to address my concerns, I saw Sanjay and he took some photos and suggested a kenalog injection to reduce swelling. We arranged another appointment with Mr Shoaib in December
I travelled another 2 hours for the appointment and minutes before l arrived I received a call to say Mr Shoaib would not be available.
On the surface they seem attentive and caring, but this is a facade, I wish I had learnt this sooner.
