Life changing for all the wrong reasons...I needed reconstructive surgery after a poor outcome from fat transfer and macs lift by this surgeon. Sorely regret my choice and even after 4 hours reconstructive surgery elsewhere am left with problems resulting from my decision to trust this surgeon. Wouldn't recommend

Follwing 4 hours of reconstructive surgery to remove the fat I am still left with noticeable lumps in my cheeks and 'pillowing' around these as well as one side of my face being noticeably different from the other. Has anyone else experienced this pillowing and folding effect as the skin folds and creases ariund large lumps? Also I was wondering if there are cases where fat is impossible to remove....I am so desparate now that I woukd consider treatments available in the usa if they exist...I am in the uk.

facing yet more surgery....
Anonymous3155July 2, 2014
When I first consulted about this surgery, pre-op I was told possible risks included small lumps and irregularities that could be corrected with filler....i wish more people considering this surgery could be made aware that things can go very much more wrong. I'm now facing my second surgery, having had one lot of reconstructive surgery already, to try and improve things - it can't undo the damage and wont be able to restore things totally...the aim is to improve. Cost is likely to be in the tens of thousands. I think this must be one of the most difficult types of surgery to reverse as aside from huge lumps it can cause damage to structure of the face. I'm hoping my next surgery will improve things - if it does, i want to put this episode behind me, return to work etc. and wont post again...if it doesn't I may create a blog to share with others considering this treatment.
