I have wanted a B/A since I was a teenager. I didn't develop fully and have always been self conscious of my boobs. After I had a child they looked even worse so I decided that enough was enough and booked a consultation with Dr Vivek Sivarajan who works at Elanic.
All of the staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. Felicity my nurse was absolutely lovely and she did my vectra scan and helped me decide what implants would be best for the look I wanted to achieve.
I opted for local anisthetic under sedation as it's the safer option and I am so glad I did. I went to Glasgow on Monday night and stayed over in a hotel ready for my op at 1045 on Tuesday. I had to fast for 6 hours before hand which was absolutely fine and then go in to get prepped for surgery. A nurse took me through the back of the clinic and I had to get into my gown and hair net then go through a bit more paper work once I was ready.
Dr Vivek came through and marked my chest ready for the implants. I had chosen 400cc moderate plus as I loved the look of a wider implant and had also seen lots of reviews on real self of other girls similar body shape and size to me who had them done.
I was then taken through to the surgery by the theatre manager who made me feel very calm and reassured. The anaesthetist then put the line into my hand and told me that the drugs would make me feel sleepy. Next thing I remember was coming round from the sedation and having a new pair of boobs! I was in pain but absolutely delighted that it had finally happened. I was given pain meds and left to chill out in recovery for a couple of hours before I could go back to the hotel I was staying at with my mum and sister.
I felt very tight and swollen but it's bareavle with the medication you are given. I propped my pillows up in the hotel and ended up falling in and out of sleep all night.
In the morning I went back to the clinic to get a nurse to check me over to make sure I was fit to head back home. Everything was absolutely fine so I just had to wait for an appointment a week later (at my own gp) to get my dressings changed.
The more time passes the better that I feel and although I am only 8 days post op I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made to get this done. It has already done wonders for my confidence and it just keeps getting better ever day. If there's anyone like me who has been researching it and reading all of the reviews on here then I think you should just go for it and book a consultation!

The 20th of March :)
Yes I am delighted with the size I chose! I think once they drop and fluff they will be perfect for my height and weight.
What size are you planning on going? X

I’m having 455cc at the moment. originally I was going 400cc but went slightly bigger as most people on here and friends I know wish they’d went bigger. x

What profile are you going for?
Yeah I would definitely recommend going for a bigger size than you first chose. I thought I'd end up going in between 300-350 but I'm delighted I chose the 400cc :) x

How long was waiting time between first consultation and getting your op
April 17, 2018
The waiting can be as little as 2 weeks I think but I waited a few months until I could get my funds together :) x

Hi how are you keeping? Have things settled well? Have you used anything g on your scars? Also have you been massaging? I’ve not been told to but it’s all I seem to see on here x

Hi I'm feeling great, back to normal now :)
Yes they look really good, I'm really pleased with them. I will post photos to update.
I have just been using cocoa butter until I order the scar away strips. I had a stitch abscess which slowed the healing process down for my left hand side so couldn't use any scar treatment till it started to heal. I have been massaging but didn't start it until about 5 weeks post op. Have you had your surgery yet? X

Good good. Great news. Pity about the abscess but hopefully your back on track now;-)
Yeah I’m 3 weeks post op now. I’ve got slight asymmetry but it’s still really early and hopefully it’ll change ASAP
I’ve only been told to massage my stitches now and to leave the breasts as they prefer them to settle on their own. X

Yeah I found a lot of comfort in reading reviews before my op, That's why I thought I would post one too. It's absolutely fine actually. I always sleep on my side so I thought I would find being upright very uncomfortable but with the way you feel it's definitely the best way. Since I was on pain killers it was pretty easy to fall asleep!
The local/sedation is absolutely fine so don't worry at all. They make you feel so comfortable and it's best to just go with the feeling once they put the drip in your hand, that way you so fall asleep like I did and not wake up till after it's over haha. Good luck to you, I'm sure you will be delighted once it's done! X
