Year After Surgery

I thought now it's been just over a year since I had my eyelid surgery I would update everyone - my eyes continued to heal and improve all through the year - I believe now they are completed healed and all sensation has returned - so pleased I had the surgery it's made me love my eyes again ????

14 Weeks After Surgery

I thought I would put a little update as it has been a while since I have posted. I am still very pleased with my eyes, I do still have slight numbness along my lash line which feels strange when applying eyeliner and mascara but I hope this will eventually subside.

I did have a little spot develope a few weeks ago on my left eye on the incision line, it was in the same position where the stitches would have ended in the inner corner. It was only small but annoying because it was on the edge of the crease. Rightly or wrongly I picked at it with a pair of sterilised tweezers and then applied some hydrocortisone cream and it has now disappeared. The incision lines are virtually undetectable now ????

On a down point I have started being aware of my under eye area, something that never used to bother me - the skin is looking looser and darking has developed slightly - I am wondering if this is simply because my upper eyelids look youthful now and it's highlighting the under eye or I did develope fluid sacks and slight bruising during my recovery period under my eyes and maybe that stretched the skin slightly - it's not bothering me enough to have more surgery at this stage so I've invested in some good eye cream ????

Looking more awake ????
