Profound Treatment Update

WORTH IT
I'm still happy with the profound treatment. It's been 1 year, 1 1/2 months since I've had the procedure. No side effects. Expect a firmer jaw line. There's no distortion for fat loss in my face. I was told it would last 2 years or so. Only time will tell. But my jaw line still looks firm.

Your post said that it last only two years is that correct? Is that what the doctor said. My understanding is it was long lasting procedure. Doesn't seem worth it for that short of a time.

It could last longer than that. I was told two years plus. It's been over a year and my job line still looks great. I'll continue posting updates in the future .

Hi Mtmuscle, was wondering how your profound treatement was holding up. I saw a doctor last week about Profound and she said it last from a year and a half to two years. She said she had a face lift which last eight years and cost 8000 dollars were as they offer Profound for 2000 dollars. She said it's like 1000 a year for each procedure except you don't end up with scars in a face lift.

Hi Artishere,
This June 1, 2017 will be two years since I had the profound treatment. It's still holding up well, and will continue to monitor my results.
The price your doctor quoted is about right.

For this kind of procedure, I don't think it's a matter of the procedure "lasting" because the change is permanent; but aging never stops. It's not like fillers or botox, which physically vanish over a period of time, so truly do have a time limit on them. A better way to think of it is, it turns back the clock by about two years. In five years, it will still look better than if you hadn't done it at all - just not as good as when you first got it done, because aging never stops.

Hi can you tell me how much you paid? I just had a consult and it costs$5500!

I had my jawline done for $2000 at the time. $5500 for the whole face?

Good point. I was just going to say that. Unfortunately, we cannot freeze time. The same is true with a face lift. You will still age, but you will look better than if you had not done it at all. I had Profound done approximately one year ago (a little over) and I am happy with the results. I just couldn't stand my profile. The cost of mine was less a year ago, but I think the price went up just after I did it. Probably because more people were interested in it.

Yes below eyes to neck. Seems so high! In Los Angeles they charge so much

You look great, thanks for sharing! I'm currently considering this procedure so your insight helps.

Mtmuscle, how are you doing two years post? How are the results holding up? Are you still happy with it? Does it seem like you need another session?

Looks Great!!! Very defined!

Did you lose weight between your Before & After photos ... or is the better jaw definition just due to the procedure?

The before image was taken after the treatment. I was swollen for several days. The after image was taken three months later. But of course after the swelling goes down my Jaw line is going to look more defined. But I did notice that after a few months my Jaw line felt and looked tighter, more firm.
