WORTH IT
Dr. Josh Olson of Advanced Plastic Surhery, Gilbert and Scottsdale, AZ did an amazing job! I am thrilled with my results. He, along with his staff, were professional, knowledgeable, and prompt in returning calls and emails. Dr. Olson has a great bedside manner, is honest in what to expect as well as what can reasonably be achieved through surgery, and genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. I strongly recommend Dr. Olson!

My surgery (lipo of hips, tummy tuck, and breast reduction with lift) lasted approximately 7 hours. I was at the hospital for a few more hours battling nausea but I've experienced this before so was not completely surprised. My surgery was on a Friday, and I stayed at my sister's house until Sunday night because it was easier to do that with a very energetic 4 year old at home. My husband had to be back to work on Monday morning, and although I had minor discomfort, it was totally doable as long as I was strict and followed the no lifting orders. Also, for a small fee, Dr. Olson offered an intra operative pain killer injection into my abdominal site that decreases your pain for the following 72 hours. I would STRONGLY recommend having this because I did not require much oral pain medication following surgery and felt more alert and like myself and it was easier to maneuver around. I warded off constipation due to my minimal oral pain medication (but to be safe I did take a senakot-s once daily starting the day before surgery). I was complain't with all post op instructions...pressure garment 24 hours a day except when cleared to shower, ambulatory often, no lifting, etc. I had my 6 week post op apt today (I had 2 post op Apts prior to this one) and I'm healing wonderfully. I do not have any pics to post, but I will ask Dr Olson's office for the pre op pics, then will post my "now" pics for comparison.
