Finally done with having kids - Gilbert, AZ

ORIGINAL POST

I was finally done with having kids...

WORTH IT$6,000

I was finally done with having kids and I was ready to get my body back in
better shape ... but the easy way. Even though I wasn't overweight I had
multiple problem areas - fat build up in love handle area, fat build up in
stomach area, and after nursing children, breasts that were completed
deflated looking (I was a very small 34B if that). I personally would not
choose implants but the solution of removing fat in problem areas and then
transferring it to your breasts to give them a fuller look was like a
win-win solution to the 100th power. I had my procedure a few weeks ago and my results are just amazing - I have a slimmer waist, slightly smaller
thighs in a very subtle way, and the biggest win is that with the fat
transfer, I am a very full 34B which is what I always wanted! I can't even
express how glad I am that I went through with the procedure. If you're on
the fence, I say go for it (especially if you have a great doctor like
mine, Dr. Olson in Gilbert!) and don't waste time thinking about it. It's
an investment in yourself so the longer you wait, you're just delaying the
overall benefit of the money you have invested.

Procedure:
1. Lipo of love handles, inner/outer thighs, abdomen
2. Fat transfer to breasts
3. 4 hour surgery
4. Within 24 hours I was up and around
5. By 48 hours, wounds weren't seeping much
6. By third day, I was moving slower and sore but honestly, I think getting
your teeth extracted is worse!

I would do this again in a heartbeat ... I might consider doing another fat
transfer to the breast in the future - that's how amazing I think this
procedure is (both in the results and how relatively easy it is).

First and foremost, Dr. Olson is an extremely skilled surgeon - he pays grave attention to detail and you can see it in the results. Scars after procedure were minimal (still in recovery phase but you can tell they're very small and precise) and the results speak for themselves. What's interesting to me about Dr. Olson is that during my first few consultations he was very professional and honest - and in a way, almost a little too reserved? In other words, he's not this overtly warm and joking kind of guy - if anything, if I had to describe him, I would say, he is "all business". But the interesting thing is that the day of my surgery, he was extremely nice and caring - and tried his best to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I was speaking to my husband about it and I think that when you're doing those first few consultations with Dr. Olson he's just focused on the details and making sure everything is done right - and if he wasn't "all business" it actually might feel awkward for the patient (hard to picture standing stark naked in front of a doctor that you're kind of buddies with, you know?). So in my eyes, Dr. Olson was the perfect combination of professionalism, intelligence/skill, honest/candid feedback, and empathy/caring nature. In my opinion, you rarely hear of plastic surgeons in the east valley (Gilbert area) but eventually the secret will get out that we have a very talented plastic surgeon and everyone will want to go to him! Dr. Olson is also board certified which is MUST!

Congratulations! So glad you're happy with your results. Do you recall about how many CCs of fat you had transferred? Hoping you'll comment on a forum for 2016 Breast Fat Transfer surgery so other members interested in the procedure can easily find your review. Looking forward to your updates as you continue to heal and settle in!

Did you do before and after pics?
How much fat have you retained. Do you happen to have any pictures. I'm at the final stage of trying to decide if the procedure is worth it. I really don't want implants but...
I'm in Gilbert, would you mind sharing where you went to have your fat transfer done? Are you still happy with your results?
I am considering Dr. Olson for the same procedure. How many cc were added to your breasts? What was the before size and how much did you retain? I am a small A wanting at least a full B. He said only 200cc could be extracted and placed in each breast.
