So Far So Good

Today is day 1 post op and I am excited to see the results. Right now it's too soon to tell but I am confident that the team did a great job. The staff is nice and helpful. I texted the office manger at 8PM and she promptly replied. That's what I call customer service. I haven't taken any full body pics in a long time because I was unhappy with my body. I think videos tell a better story since when I looked at some pics, I could tell that some people even needed any work done.

Yesterday I had purelipo done on my tummy and back. I read a few reviews where it said you would be awake but I was knock out. I was given a Valium and a benadryl and I'm pretty sure that did it for me. The doctor used lidocaine to numb the areas and I honestly didn't feel a thing or remeber anything for that matter since the nurse said I kept asking was it gross. After the procedure I felt fine I was talking and talking and everything. Then they put the garment on me. It's quite tight but it's fine I just feel like a mummy. There is a whole at the bottom so i can pee and poop. Sorry. I just think is funny. I'm not having any pain. Just annoyed about the restricted movement. I'm looking forward to taking a shower. Getting out of bed was a task. I literally had to slide out of bed. My god baby who is six kept me company but since she sleeps so bad she made a little pallet on the floor. Unfortunately since I was sliding out of bed I'm pretty sure I landed in her. Not bad though cuz she was still asleep. Laying down and being awake sucks but I can walk just fine. My sister has a soda that reclines so I think if I still feel to stiff tonight I'll sleep on the sofa. My doctor was Monte Slater in Warner Robins. The clinic is a little ducked off and a little older but clean. The staff was very friendly and to my understanding it the husband who is the doctor, the wife and a sweet little nurse Kibby. I didn't take any before photos but I did take a video since I thought a video would show everything more accurately. Once I'm not too stiff I'll add a video of me in the garment as well. I don't know how I look since it hasn't even been 24 hours but I figured id share what I could since reading everyone else reviews help me make this decision. By the way I tried to eat yesterday. I couldn't. Not sure if I'll be able to eat anything today but hopefully I will. I'm drinking lots of water and I'll find a portion bar or something because I know I need to eat.

As promised. Video with garment and wrap, just garment and naked. My back looks amazing. Minimal bruising. I'm waiting for my garments to dry so I'm wearing a cheap one. I'm ready to wrap back up. I had a lot of bandages. Thank goodness my sis helped. Knowing me I just would have sat down and started crying because it couldn't get it off. You will for sure want a loved one to help. I almost did this on my own. I would have been miserable.
