29 Years Old, 5'7 114lbs One Child, 300/325cc's Smooth Round Moderate Plus Profile Gel - Savannah, GA

ORIGINAL POST

I saw my plastic surgeon when I was 18 years old...

WORTH IT$5,600
I saw my plastic surgeon when I was 18 years old and decided to wait. Fast forward to me being 29 years old and I figured I wasn't getting any younger and I still wanted to do it so I did. It's just taken me a few weeks to open up my laptop and actually post my story instead of just reading everyone else's. Like the title says I went with 300cc's in my right breast and 325cc's in my left. I decided on smooth round moderate plus profile gel implants under the muscle. I have a slim build and didn't want to look "fake" but definitely wanted a noticeable difference. I went into my doctors office at 8am and was out and hitting the driv thru at burger king by 12pm (my best friend driving of course.) I stayed with her throughout the day, made myself lunch, read on the front porch, as far from bed ridden as one can get. I was uncomfortable but not in any major pain. Sleeping was a pain since I'm a stomach sleeper and had to sleep propped up on my back.
Day two my doc told me to take off all of the bandaging and take a shower which felt great getting all of that binding off of me. Day two was a breeze, no real pain, I could just tell that there was something "foreign" where my boobs used to be lol. By day 4 I wasn't using any pain meds and was so ready to get the surgery bra off. Went for my one week check up, and doc said everything was looking good. He told me to start massaging my breasts and he showed me how (hurt like hell and I hate doing it but it has to be done.) I absolutely LOVE my doctor and his staff. I couldn't have found a better facility or doctor. The most important thing I can tell you is DO YOUR RESEARCH when it comes to choosing a doctor! I started out at a 32A and as of right now I am a 34C (and hopefully stay that way.) I sometimes wish I had gone a bit bigger but for the most part I am happy with where I have ended up. I'm almost 4 weeks post op now and can not WAIT to get back in the gym as I can literally see all of my muscle tone melting away. Curious to find out if I can ever go back to bench pressing. I have heard mixed opinions. Doc says I can go back to the gym the beginning of May but I need to specifically ask about upper body weight training. If anyone has any thoughts and/or personal experience with that I would love any kind of feed back.

Hi there my op is two weeks away and I am obsessively trying to estimate the level of pain, you experience sounds very tolerable! I am guessing you had subglandular and not submuscular? I am getting submuscular HP 350cc
no mine was submuscular. I have a high tolerance for pain to begin with but honestly it wasn't that bad. The incisions are under my breasts and very tolerable pain wise.
Raelynn your boobs look amazing and such a perfect size for you! Great to hear you had such an easy recovery. I did too, I wish that all women were as fortunate as us!
Thank you so much!! I love them! I honestly think a lot of someone's recovery has to do with the u surgeon too. I was lucky to find such an excellent one!
I completely agree! I noticed that almost every woman who went to my surgeon reported easier/faster than usually recoveries with minimal bruising, so I really do think their technique plays a huge role in over all recovery! We are both lucky :).
I did not have the first bruise after my surgery! I was so impressed with my doc and his staff. It honestly pays to do your research! I traveled an hour from home to have my surgery. Although I could have had it done for 1500.00 cheaper in my home town, I was not impressed with the doctors here or the reviews or pictures I researched. The extra drive and extra money was well worth it to me and my boyfriend agrees lol!
You look AMAZING!! I just had mine done yesterday I got 360 cc moderate plus saline. My boobs to me are small & don't look like yours at all... I hope they change
Mine look small to me also. The bra I used to wear was a heavily padded VS bra that added 2 cup sizes. Now I can wear regular thin bras and I'm just as big as I was before with the padded bra so no one can tell I had a boob job. When they find out they always say something stupid like "well that was a waste of money." Or "you got a boob job?!" They just don't understand how different I look without a shirt on and how fabulous I feel bot HAVING to wear a bra if I don't want to. I struggled with wishing I had gone bigger for the first few weeks after my surgery but I love them 100% now and am happy with the size I chose! People expected me to look like Dolly Parton and that's just dumb. Don't be too disappointed, I really think that you'll end up loving yours as much as I love mine!
Ok, that's positive, I'm sure I will learn to love them once the settle down..... thank you!
You look great! Can I ask why you decided to wait at 18? I'm 24 but I haven't had any children yet and I'm wondering if it is because your doctor suggested waiting until after you've breastfed your babies. I'm anxious to have mine done quickly (my surgery is at the end of June) but I know I'll want to have kids and breastfeed in the years to come as well.
I've never heard that if you have implants that you can't breastfeed, ask your plastic surgeon but I think you can... :-)
At 18 you cold only get saline back then and I wanted silicone, so I decided to wait and financial circumstances didn't allow it again until I got older. You can still breastfeed with implants. A good friend of mine has had 2 kids and her implants still look as fabulous as ever, although I'm not sure if she breast fed or not. I think you'll be fine with future babies 8 )
*could! Stupid smart phone!
thank you! i did email my PS and was told that going under the muscle leaves little to no chance that i'll have complications while breastfeeding. That was what i had heard from doing research previously so my other concern was how drastically the look of the implants would change after breastfeeding. I was told that as long as i do not gain a drastic amount of weight there should not be a problem and that they may even end up looking more natural after.
You're Boobs look Amazing!!!!!!!!!
