35....3 Kids....44HH!

WORTH IT

Living with the pain of big boobs for 8 years. Each time i had a baby, my breasts got bigger. But, no matter how much weight I lost, "the girls" would not go down. Just had my 3rd baby this past November. The pain got so bad that it hurt like hell just to hold him. My other two boys, I breast fed for 6 months...which was my plan this time too. However, I couldn't hold him let alone nurse him. I was ( and still am) hurt by the fact that he would not get as much breast milk as his brothers, but I did what I could.,,,but the surgery had to happen....ASAP before my baby became too big to hold.

Now, I am 42 C and I couldn't be more proud of the work Dr. Stephenson did. The pain is gone, and I can now bond with my new baby bear.

Dr. Stephenson is an excellent surgeon. His bedside manor is superb. Again, he is patient, informative, easy to talk to. He made this entire experience wonderful. Other than 3 C-sections, this breast reduction is my first major surgery. He made me very comfortable with this process from the very beginning.

So sweet I'm glad you can hold him now :)
I just read your whole story. So glad you are feeling like a new woman. As far as breast feeding the baby. Try not to feel to quilty. The baby will never know.
I gotta say -You are incredible!! What an amazing mom you are. To go through this with 3 boys is amazing. Absolutely do not feel bad about the breastfeeding. You look spectacular and I bet you feel so much lighter up top. Good for you! Thank you so much for sharing-I go in on Friday. Excited

Post-Op #3

NO MORE TUBES! NO MORE CEPHALEXIN (took my last one this morning). Dr. Stephenson says I look good, and healing well. Just keep wearing the sports bras. Pad them if I want to...if not...no big deal. Still no lifting more than 5 lbs...or just use good judgement. Although my son now weighs 13 lbs, I only really pick him up to change and feed him. No walking around with him. I did pick him up in the middle of the night, just out of habit, trying to get him back to sleep. I learned quickly that that was not the best idea.

One was a big special on hair removal through the end of April another was 10% tummy tuck if you book it during consult good until may 31st .. usually they only requires 500 to book or that's been my experience. this is your year remember ? Lol just thought I'd pop over and remind you .. hope everyone is well and you are healing up good .. Hey there. Sorry I've been M.I.A. Been trying to find work, get the kids on track with school and sports. It's been crazy around here. I did go for my 2 week post op appointment. All is well. I've started to scab, and now they are starting to fall off. Dr. S says everything looks good. Some of the skin under my left breast started to peel away, and left an L shaped scar, but he gave me a script for Xeroform, which is just some medicated gauze. I go back in 2 weeks. The lady that does the hair removal told me about it and I am going to have it done. Got some bills to take care of first, but it will be done. In order to get the TT or the BBL, I gotta get one if these jobs I just applied for.....wish me luck! I went to JC Penny and got fitted and I am officially a "C" cup...which is fine by me. However, I'm a 48C, SO, before I go crazy buying bras, I need to get that number down to the 30's. The lady that fitted me is trying to get a reduction too. I told her about the is site, so hopefully she'll see something or someone that will help her out. I'm counting down the days with you. Like I said, it's been a mad house around here, so if I don't talk to you before you go under, I wish you luck, and love, and I'll be praying fir you during, and will surly talk to you afterwards.
Wow a C cup eh? I'm kinda starting to hope for a small D cause I'm so tall but if I'm a C after that's OK too. When I went to pay my balance she said I was scheduled for a " lift " what's up with that ? I started thinking maybe that's just what they call reductions too small to be covered by insurance. . 300 grams is pretty small reduction.. I think a lot of mine is skin plus now I've lost 11 pounds and 2 inches in my chest . Weird but I was a 38 around thr band now I'm 36 same with the waist.. glad you're healing good and you heard about the hair removal thing.. definitely sending up some prayers for those jobs they'd be crazy not to hire you .. it's valentine's day and I'm shut up in my office trying to get my lesson for tomorrow done cause I been sick all week . So now I'm crunching to to hear from the Lord ..lol and get done in time to get over and see papa cause i been sick and scared to expose him and still go on a much needed date with my hubby .. I'm so proud of him .. today someone called him to tell them they won't be there Monday .. it's funny watching him be boss man now .. he hung up I was like awwww my boss man " lol I'm on an all protien and fat zero carb diet . So wherever go I have to eat meat ..lol maybe I an fudge a little since technically I get a cheat day on day 6 which falls today but in don't like to take it cause it makes me want to at carbs again .. but maybe I'll have a green salad or someeting just so I don't look crazy at wherever we go ..lol well keep me posted when you feel like it .. good to hear from you
I think you'll look great whether C or D. I'm short and stocky, and a C doesn't look bad to me. They are full, and lifted up, so when I wear all of my cowl neck shirts, I don't look flat chested at all. Just makes my stomach look bigger, which I am tying to take care of right now. And I won't stop until I can lok straight down and see my pretty toes...lol! Hope you feel better...hope you papa and family are doing well. I will be in touch. TTYL

One Week Post-Op

Well...here it is....1 week and I feel great. I've been taking my antibiotics as directed, but I think I'm having an allergic reaction to it. At first, I was given Cephalexin, but shortly after taking my first pill, my body started itching all over. Called the PS office and he prescribed Clindamycin. Been taking that for a week now and the other day, my va-jay-jay started itching like crazy. Sweating, smelling kinda harsh, still itching uncontrollably, tender to touch, and sometimes felt like it was melting and UGH...wearing underwear was more uncomfortable than usual. I bought some Vagisil wipes, and that helped a lot....until I take the next dosage. Now I know you're wondering, why don't I call Dr. Stephenson and get another script. Well, I only have another day's worth to take, and since I have to see him tomorrow anyway, why get another prescription filled when this one is almost out. From what I can see, I may not need anymore after tomorrow. Most of the dead skin has come off, and it all looks like it's healing up well. I PRAY, that he will take these awful tubes out of me. I swear, this is the worst part of having surgery done. The fluids have subsided enough that I am confident that he will remove them....then maybe I can get a good night's sleep.
I'll post the results of my second follow-up. Until then...nighty-night!

I can't imagine having these drain in for a week! I've had them less then 24 and they are horrific! Hopefully they will take them out for you!! Mine to come out Thursday fingers crossed! Your also healing very beautifully! I haven't had a chance to peek at mine yet! Too nervous to still!
Thank you! I was nervous to look at my scars at first too...but my husband helped me take off my bandages and I was in awe at what I saw. I am so glad that he took the tubes out. I was going to cry if I had to leave them in for another day.
Ps I am also taking Cephalexin and itching like crazy all over!! I'm only on it till Thursday so I might just tuff it out! But it terrible!
OMG...YES...the itching is a pain in the butt! I went to Walgreens in tears the itching was so bad. Get you some Vagisil wipes. They are life savers. I took my last pill this morning, thank GOD, just before my appointment with the PS.
Have you tried taking some benadryl? Get you some it might help . I was gonna suggest it might be pain meds but you would recognize that itch having had neck and back stuff . Bless your heart . You might be allergic to sulfa I'm not sure I think Kphlex is sulfa. Might not be but you need to make sure and adress this with him and document it in medical records first reaction is usually itching or something mild but allergic reactions progrsss next time could be swelling . Which is howpeople die their air way swells or anaphylaxis which untreated also kills . Just be sure to always always tell any Dr who writes antibiotics for you that you've had this reaction . They will know more than me . My daughter broke out in a small rash from penicillin when she was a baby her Dr said never ever give it to her again next time would likely be swelling or something . It's weird seems like it would work the opposite way . The first reaction being the worst then as you get used to it getting less and less but it's not . Not with allergies of any kind
I dont know why I had never seen this post before. OMG...I hope you didn't feel like I was ignoring you! I've been taking Benedryl for so long for allergies that I think my body has become immune. Now, it just put me to sleep. I hope the description of my experience with Clindamycin wasn't too much info for anyone, I just wanted to share the full experience. I keep a list of my current meds and meds I'm allergic to in my wallet. I do not need to be itching or swollen for any reason. My boys are allergic to penicillian too. They get this nasty rash in their private area too. Weird how that one area is targeted. I'll have to ask about that....hmmm.
