My hairline is still incomplete and does not look natural

First of all I will start with the good things. Dr Meshkin and his staff are very kind & professional. The procedure went well, and their post op care was good. My hair does look better than it did before the procedure.
Now for the things that bothered me.
I went into my consultation basically knowing that I wanted an FUE transplant instead of an FUT to avoid linear scarring. In hindsight, it seems pretty clear to me that FUT is Dr Meshkins speciality and he was very persuasive and managed to convince me to proceed with FUT...a decision I now regret. The wound on my head was very painful post surgery... and you WILL have a scar for the rest of your life by doing this. I now have to tell my barber not to cut my hair too short.
Another thing that bothered me is on the day of the procedure...the staff asked if I wanted "extra" grafts...for extra charge of course...but waited until I was heavily doped up on drugs to ask me. I said "sure" and had them upcharge me cause I was already going through with the surgery and my inhibitions were lowered cause of the drugs. In retrospect it seems unethical to ask someone to make a decision like that when they are inebriated.
I don't know where those "extra" grafts ended up, because my hairline is still incomplete and does not look natural. I still wear a hat everywhere I go
I had a follow up consultation with Dr Meshkin and he offered to do another surgery at a discount. I told him I did not want to do FUT again as I was somewhat traumatized from last time. I asked if he would do FUE instead. Once again he insisted that we do FUT, despite my preference. I don't know if he actually offers FUE or if he just says that he does.
Ultimately my hair DOES look better than it did before. However I am still disappointed with the results and the experience as a whole. If I could do it all over again - I would have gone somewhere else.
I don't say this to disrespect Dr Meshkin - I do believe he is a good Dr with lots of years in the practice.
I will undoubtedly need another hair transplant procedure.
I advise you to shop around to multiple doctors before scheduling a surgery and really doing your homework. When it comes to your body...don't try and cut corners or skimp on cost.

Since 2019, FUE is clearly the Best technic for hair transplant. Then, for incisions sapphire blade or DHI.
If this Dr only does FUT, it means he didn't want to progress and to invest with a FUE micromotor punch.
Maybe consider another FUE to :
- cover the scare
- get a better front line.
I recommend according to the price that you travel to Istanbul and choose a good clinic. From 1500$ to 6000$. Be careful of the Google comments that are not all genuine.
I am pretty sure you will be very happy.
Take 2 weeks holiday to visit Europe, and then the last 4 days, Istanbul and come back to your country. In your case no need to shave your head for the procedure.
