Eager to get my stomach flat I began my research to find a doctor to repair my diastasis recti. I ended choosing Dr. Steely based on his great reviews on real self and his beautiful work, I was really impressed by his tummy tuck scar very minimal and belly button.

Surgery date 6/17/2021
The day of surgery I was a tat nervous but I had the option the get Valium...helped. When I woke up I wasn’t in pain due to the pain medicine given at hospital... Pain started to hit the next day. From 1-10 pain was about a 7, then took pain medicine. Around Day 3 I was fine without the pain meds.
It was rough coughing, laughing, and sneezing the first few days but the hospital gave me a purple square foam to ouch against my stomach and that helped. Definitely not an easy process the first three days with getting and out of bed. The first time I took shower ( day 2) I felt dizzy and had to lay down which is normal right after surgery.
The following day after surgery Cindy from Dr. Steely’s office called to check up on me... that was nice. Dr. Steely and his staff are truly a great team.
