3 months post-update

Still so happy I did it. Some numbness along incision line still. Scar is still very red, but mostly a thin, flat line. You will see a few spots where old silvery stretch marks are cut in half, but I feel lucky that most of them went bye bye. Happy with the appearance of my belly button, still red, but looks hooded, deep, natural. Also very please with how low the scar is, it’s always hard to tell in pictures, now, if it were very important to wear super high-cut leg swimwear I think you to see the corners of it, but to me, it doesn’t get better than this. I massage my scars with silicone gel and often wear a long strip of silicone tape, I found one on amazon that seems to stay put and feel comfortable.

5 weeks post op, a peek at the scare

Ah the dreaded hip to hip scare. If this is at 5 weeks, I think eventually this seam is going to look pretty seamless! I ordered some silicone tapes to start using at my 6 week mark. Any products you have loved for scare treatment, let me know!
