Wonderful Experience with Dr Ken Anderson

To start with, I would like to express the enormous gratitude I have for Dr Ken Anderson and his staff. Dr Anderson is one of the kindest and most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of having. He always takes the time to ensure that all your questions are answered and that you are not just informed but that you feel very comfortable during the entire procedure, and even during every follow-up visit. From my initial consultation call, to then meeting with Nelson (who oversees all patient relations and coordination), front desk, to all medical staff and surgeons my experience has been super smooth and insightful.
This past December, I had the FUT procedure done by Dr. Anderson and it went great. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during the entire procedure even beyond. The hairline Dr. Anderson created looked amazing and it was easy to see how natural it’s going to look in just a few more months. In the weeks that followed, Dr. Anderson and I stayed in touch over the phone and through follow-up visits , and he continued his phenomenal bedside manner. While deciding on the no. of grafts to be used for recipient area, he considers the future hair loss of each patient knowing that the donor hair for each patient is limited. He also safely determines the area where the grafts can be safely taken out.
During FUT procedure, Dr Anderson also provided a procedure called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Research have shown that when patients get a PRP procedure during surgery, at 2, 4 and 6 months following a hair transplant surgery, results of the transplant has significantly improved. I’m now a little more than two weeks out and I am already seeing improvement on my transplanted area. I’m happy to say that the healing time went as fast as Dr. Anderson said it would, and more importantly to me, no one could tell that I had anything done.
For those of you who may read this post and are trying to decide if hair transplant surgery is right for you, do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Ken Anderson. You will never regret it.
