Just a warning...
So to preface, I've had two procedures with Jeffrey Epstein's office, a successful SHA(surgical hairline advancement), and a disappointing FUE hair transplant(granted, I'm a week into recovery, but the mistakes are very obvious).
The SHA went well. The hairline was lowered to where I was hoping, and everything went and as planned pre-surgery with the sharpie marks. Due to that surgery going so successfully, I decided to come back...big mistake.
With the FUE hair transplant, it was a different story. The marked spots that Dr. Epstein and I had agreed upon were not filled in, nor was the hairline design as we had agreed upon.
After I awoke from the FUE procedure, I was confused by this because what I had wanted to be done and discussed with him was that the top part of my head(about 1 to 2 inches starting at and behind the hairline) be filled in thicker...it was not, not a hair was placed behind my hairline on the scalp even though my hair is very thin behind the hairline, instead my hairline was unexpectedly lowered with the grafts(all the grafts in the front portion were placed BELOW my hairline, opposite of what I'd wanted), no idea how that came to happen since the blue sharpie marks he made on my scalp was clearly marked from the start of hairline to the back. Though, as I was in and out of consciousness from the meds, I came to realize he did not even touch my head, it was just his nurses who did the whole procedure, even though I thought it would be a healthy mix.
Another thing, they were very sloppy with how they chose their donor spots. I have random bald spots everywhere, not the neat rows of hairs I was told would be cut at the bottom back part. Maybe they didn't want to deal with my natural hair, who knows...Warning to any other Black women with natural hair planning to come here.
Anyways, just a heads up, or even a warning, for anyone willing to take the risk with Dr. Epstein and his practice.
