Transplant Experience Exceeded Expectations

WORTH IT
Dr Kwon and the team were great - they made the experience as effortless and smooth as possible. This was fantastic, especially for someone flying in from overseas for the procedure and didn't speak the local language. Rosa was also amazing in her coordination efforts and communication - she was crucial in the process for a customer to feel comfortable and relaxed.

I'm on day 9 post-op, and its encouraging so far. Looking forward to the future hair re-growth and the outcome of the procedure.

Worth noting that Dr Kwon performed 250 surgeries in 2024 and has been operating in this field for over 13 years -- in my interactions with him, albeit via a translator, he came across highly knowledgeable and experienced.

Day 14 Progress

55U63TV
Today was the first day of shampoo the donor and recipient area as normal to begin removing the scabs. The scalp still felt numb, as advised by the ForHair (FH) team. Shedding of the scabs began - the clinic advised that its progressing as expected and all is normal. The recipient area is slightly pink but again, as expected.

It's worth noting that everything has progressed as Dr Kwon, Rosa, and the team advised it would - so there have been no surprises so far! This is in-line with my experience with the FH team from the start, who have made things easy. This includes being seated upright and watching Netflix/TV/surgical screen during both harvesting and implantation, which not only made the time pass quickly, but also means the grafts minimise the time outside the scalp.

1 Month Update

One month on, the process has progressed as expected. The transplanted hairs have begun to fall out as advised, and the condition of the recipient areas is normal. Redness of the recipient area, whilst visible, isn't as bad as I thought it could be which is great. Dr Kwon and his team advised that baby hairs will begin to grow around the 3-4 month mark, so now it's about being patient for the results to come!
