Stay Away from AEK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible Experience. Dr. Karadeniz is a businessman first, doctor second. Im level 7 Norwood Bald and in my late 20s. I was told I didnt have a good donor area by other doctors but Dr. Karadeniz stated through Whatsapp messages that I can have 3000-4000 hairs transplanted through FUE. I saw his videos online and read some of his reviews and thought he was a good choice so I flew to Turkey and went with it. The options were: $1500 EUR for the nurses to do the full operation besides the hairline drawing by the Dr, or $3000 EUR for Dr. Karadeniz to do the Recipient incisions along with the hairline, I chose this option. When I arrived I was told the Doctor was on his way and 2 nurses started with Local Anesthesia and Donor Area Extraction. This lasted about 2 hrs. After the nurses finished removing the grafts from the back of my head, Dr. Karadeniz shows up, draws my hairline with a sharpie on my head and hands me a mirror. So we speak about my hairline & the operation very briefly, the conversation lasted 5-10 minutes then Dr. Karadeniz started recipient incisions which took another 30-45 minutes. Done. Dr. Karadeniz has left. For the next 5-6 hours it would be me laying there listening to the nurses literally talking and joking for hours as they’re transplanting the hairs to the recipient area. After an exhausting, long, and painful day, the surgery is done. I take a picture of my head and see I dont have any hair whatsoever on my crown all the way to the back where the horeshoe on my head is still the exactly the same. I have a new hairline and my grafts go back about 4” to my middle of my head and stop. This was extremely shocking to me because the Doctor never explained that half my head would still be bald after the operation. I thought the receding hairline would allow more coverage in the back. But I had a receeded hairline AND my crown was completely bald. After the operation, no sign of Dr. Karadeniz, but his assistant hands me a laptop with a Youtube video of the Doctor explaining aftercare instructions. And she hands me a sheet of paper and a pen to take notes. Unreal. After being in surgery all day and seeing the doctor for less then 1 total hour after paying double the price for him to be involved, Im sitting taking notes from a youtube video!!! The audacity of this businessman who took my money and his nurses did all the work as they talked my ear off. I waited after the surgery a half hour tired and in pain while the Doctor is in his other Suite, 2 Floors down on a phone call. I tell him my head is still bald and that this was not what I expected and he gets defensive instantly and tells me he explained in great detail and talked to me for a while about it! Great detail in 10 minutes or less???!!! I expressed my disappointment in his lack of involvement in the surgery and he was very combative and literally said “Why do you mention the time I was there? what does the time have to do with anything?” Are you serious? I might as well have paid $1500 for the nurses to do it because they did everything anyway! I tell him his nurses were rudely talking my ears off in another language the whole surgery and he says that this does not negatively affect their performance. Unbelieveable. I contacted the secretary after leaving to ask how many grafts were transplanted and got no response. So I dont know anything, have no paperwork besides some Whatsapp messages. Dont believe the hype from Dr Karadeniz videos, its a marketing ploy to get you from another country and choose to pay more to have him do it because HE MAKES VIDEOS talking down on cheap clinics in Turkey where nurses do all the work. Coincidence? Nope. This man offered no sympathy, empathy or a care In the world to my concerns or how I felt after the surgery. He was paid already and thats all that mattered to him. STAY AWAY! unless you want a Dr who will treat you like a number and not a person.
