Smooth Operator - swelling but still have not felt any pain
ORIGINAL POST
Smooth Operator
WORTH IT
Just had an FUE procedure with Dr. Anderson in his Alpharetta location. As soon as you walk into his building, you’re received by one of his assistants who is already aware of who you are & what procedure you will be getting.
After signing a couple of release forms, you are walked over to a room where you are shown an instructional video, followed by an explanation of the prescribed meds & a walkthrough of the procedure by Dr. Anderson. There was some U2 playing in the background as he drew my new hairline.
After this I was walked over to the ARTAS robot room to get hair follicles extracted, by which time I was completely sedated & felt 0 pain.
Next thing I know, I am back in the original room getting the last of the extracted hair follicles put into the recipient area by his assistants while some Erykah Badu played in the background, very smooth. 0 pain was felt & the environment makes you feel relaxed, everything going according to plan.
At the end of the whole procedure, I was feeling great with no pain. A post-op package was given to me along with a final explanation of how to use the medications & how to take care of the recipient area. No need to write anything down as the instructions are printed out in detail. There is also some lunch provided but I was out before 3pm (procedure started at 8am).
The next day I received a couple of calls from Dr.Anderson & his assistants, just a quick check-up & availability to answer any questions I had.
It’s been 2 days & still have not felt any pain. There’s swelling as expected but nothing uncomfortable. My procedure consisted of the frontal hairline & temples.
Overall, I’d say my experience was a 10/10. From pre-op to post-op everyone is friendly but more importantly very professional. Will be back for some PRP treatments & I recommend Dr.Anderson to any of my balding friends.

Congrats on your surgery! Hope you're recovering well so far. I can't wait to hear how it turns out and (hopefully) see some photos? :)
