Like Being Alabama Losing to Georgia.

Hi my name is Chris Bowers. I seen Dr. Glenn Charles Dec 23rd 2016. My review is pretty direct and forward. I did not see the doctor but a mere 45min. DR CHARLES , was kind, direct and to the point. I had anxiety going in, he gave me medicine to calm me. Very appreciative of that. 

After that the procedure was cut and dry. His staff was courteous, kind and made you feel at ease. The procedure after being numbed went quite well. My procedure started at 930 and it went very well as we all worked pretty well together so therefore I did not receive a lunch as I was In and out. I received 1053 grafts and the doctor stated how he was going to proceed with a couple extra grafts at no charge. I appreciated that. 

In my personal opinion I believe went wrong with my procedure was the standard medication that Charles medical group gives out is 10 10mg hyrdocodone with Tylenol. When I did my research; I seen many people reiterate the same ad what I experienced. Sometimes it's ok as long as you get what you expected but I'm my case I didn't. The lack of after care medication in my own opinion and experience is I dealt with a whole ton of nerve ending pain in the back of my head and due to lack of medication to keep my body at ease I experienced shock loss. I know I really did. It was brutal for me but I by no means telling trying to deter people from doing something like this for themselves. We only live once so go for it if it's what you want seriously. 

Due to my shock loss I experienced from severe pain after I returned home over the course of the years to date it had always stayed the same. DR CHARLES IS SUPERB at fine line scars. I received a fut. Though if I cut my hair short it's pretty noticeable but I never cared. His staff always has SUPERB placement skills of the follicles. If I were to show a picture, you can see the flawless placement of the follicles and when I mean flawless I mean it's perfectly natural. It's not where someone would say oh they definitely got a transplant. I would give this medical team a 5 star if it wasn't for my own experience and shock loss. The pattern and placement was exceptional but the amount of grafts and or both of shock loss as well took alot of the great work done by his staff away from not enough follicles for density. 

Other than that, I think maybe if there was a little more time involved and thought for patients after the fact and more awareness to shock loss cause that is real I had it, this would be an exceptional group of hair restoration people. I also want to state that Jennifer the sales agent was nothing less then brilliant on time and efficient. I really enjoyed this team of people all though I fell short of a trophy like result. I truly do believe in after care is a major necessity to this procedure and outcome but it has to be seen all the way through and the medicine you get for after atleast for me was by far not close to enough resulting in alot of shock loss and a result that truly doesn't resemble what this group is capable of. Great group of people. Spend a little more time with the patient and focus more on after care and I believe the next customer who follows this will be very pleased. Thank you- Chris Bowers MD
