My donor area has healed up very nicely

I met Dr. Diep back in early 2019 in my mid-20s. Dr. Diep initially turned me away as I was too early for a hair transplant, and recommended that I start with first-line medications such as finasteride and minoxidil. Dr. Diep turning me away at first built a lost of trust, and after 3-4 consultations over the years, I felt comfortable he was the right surgeon for me.

5 years later, and I am officially 3-months post op of around 2,300 grafts to my hairline and temples. So far, things post-op have gone smooth. Surgery day was long yet relatively painless. Dr. Diep provided structured post-op instructions that need to be followed religiously to ensure a successful results. It's a marathon, not a sprint, so this is a process you need to be patient with over time.

Dr. Diep offered to have monthly check-ins in person to answer questions and document my progress through photos and videos. He's very supportive, and I know he's a phone call away if I need anything. His staff is always kind and generous, whether it's getting my questions answered by the Doctor himself or filling prescriptions, they've been amazing so far.

My donor area has healed up very nicely, even my barber couldn't tell that I had surgery. In addition, only 90 days post-operation and I am starting to see significant amount sprouting of new hair across the hairline and templates areas. Still a journey ahead but excited for the final result. Will keep you updated on my progress around the 6-month mark.
