1 Year Post-FUE
WORTH IT
The transplanted hairs are about 3 or 4 inches long now, and lay flat/blend in rather than sticking out like when it was shorter. I'm getting my next PRP/Acell treatment this week. The doc recommended doing that annually. It really works - the amount of hair loss in the shower over the course of a week or more is what I used to lose daily.

Thought I’d provide an update picture as this is the first time in many years I can stand under a bright overhead light and *hardly see* my scalp showing through at all. Also, I lose hardly any hair at all in the shower anymore due to the PRP, which also adds to my volume. I cannot recommend this procedure enough!

How has your growth been since??

Today I changed my “was it worth it” answer from not sure to YES. My hair is significantly more filled in and I know it will continue to get better and better. The donor site at the back of my head is 3 inches long now so if I do the math, it will be long enough for an all-the-same-length cut by next June. Yay! Here are some pictures from today.

Thank you for posting your pictures!
Thanks for the updates! Love seeing more reviews about this from a female perspective. I just had mine on Monday and I wish I could fast forward it to 6 mos post-op already ;(
I hear you on that for sure. But the time went pretty fast to see some satisfying results. I am stoked to see what it's like at the 1 year mark, which I understand is the time that final results are actually experienced. Good luck! You'll make it and it is SO worth it!

Looks good.
