I am a physician and can honestly say Dr. Anderson is the only one I would go to for a hair transplant. I am mid 30s have Norwood 4-5 for background. I spent probably a week researching all the different options (even considered flying to Turkey). I saw an instagram post by John Cena thanking Dr. Anderson for doing his hair transplant surgery and decided to book a consult with him on a whim. I am so thankful I did and the whole experience could not have gone any better. There is so much to digest when looking at a hair transplant (I got Sapphire FUE) but I really would not go to anyone other than Dr. Anderson for these reasons...
#1, He doesn't charge per graft (like almost every other place I saw). He charges based on size needed to get the transplant done. There is so much more to FUE (i.e. angle of the grafts, overall pattern in which they are packed, density distribution, etc) than just # of follicles. I always thought charging based on that was suspect. He is very upfront about telling you he will do what is needed make sure it's done right.
#2, Like I said, he did John Cena and has a whole gallery of thousands (or probably more) transplants he has done and they all look phenomenal. You can look through them all during the consultation and see results of patients who had hair loss patterns similar to yours.
#3 I didn't want to be one of those transplant horror stories where it all falls off a year later. He has a great analogy, it's like brushing your teeth. There's maintenance (laser cap, exosomes, etc) that need to be done that are just as important as the transplant to maintain the result you want.
#4 For the transplant itself, I went to the Alpharetta office. The transplant day itself was smooth sailing (I slept the whole time). There is a hotel literally 1 minute away where you can stay and they will do a shampoo and take off all the bandages/dressings the following morning. Overall just a very VIP experience to the whole thing. The result looks incredible so far and I have already convinced 2 of my friends (also physicians) to go for a hair transplant with him once they saw the results! If on the fence, just book a consult with him you won't regret it.
