FUE Longevita Turkey - African-American Woman
I wanted to update my post by adding pictures. I have more pictures but the realself would not allow me to upload them because they were too large. The first pictures are my before pictures from 2019 right after I did my big chop. I was natural for a year before I did my FUE in October of 2020. My final pictures were taken almost a year after the FUE. I saw the most growth after 8-9 months. The worst part was waiting. I wish it was fuller but considering how extensive my hair loss was and how affordable the cost was, I'm happy with the results. It took me about 4-5 days (mainly traveling to and from the US) and cost me less than $3500 including travel, procedure, meds, hotel, shuttle, Visa, insurance, Covid19 test, etc. I'm happy I can braid my hair again, wear crochet braid or sew-ins. I don't put tension on my edges though. I do not plan on getting another, I think it will grow thicker over time.
Ethnic African-American Woman FUE in Turkey with Longevita
I've suffered from Traction Alopecia since 2015 and after numerous attempts to regrow my hair naturally with oils, micro derma rolling, massages and going natural, my hair would only grow a little bit and then it wouldn't last. Finally in 2019 I decided that if my hair did not grow back in by 2020 I would get a hair transplant. After no growth, I decided to proceed with the transplant. I originally spoke with a place in Florida, TX but they quoted me about $10k not including the hotel or transportation and they only offered the FUT which leaves a scar. After doing research online, I discovered that Turkey may be a better option and after watching and speaking with Black women that went to Turkey (two of which went to Longevita), I decided to go. It was probably the scariest thing I've ever done, but it went by so quickly, I felt I was in Turkey and then back home in a blink of an eye. Overall, I think the one-year result are great comparing it to where I was before but I wish it was thicker. I have plans to go back to get my hairline lowered with Ethnic Rhinoplasty and Breast Lift. I really liked working with Longevita for multiple reasons. 1. I was able to pay online, in monthly payments, instead of bringing cash in, 2. They include the hotel and transportation, 3. The staff was so kind, 4. They worked with Afro 4C type hair before and they had zero hesitation working with my natural hair, and 5. They are the most affordable - Hotel, transportation, lunch, procedure, and meds cost me $1750. Altogether the whole trip cost me roughly $3,200 (includes Flight from Texas, pet boarding, procedure, cash, Visa, parking at airport, and travel insurance). I still have Lira, Turkish cash, because the food their was so cheap I that couldn't spend it all. I explained to my Mom (who wanted me to go to Florida) that I could go to Turkey three times and it still would be cheaper than Florida's $10k price. Now that Longevita is branching into other services, I hope to get a few more things done there as well. I plan on doing an extensive YouTube video about the whole experience and make an Instagram where I will answer questions and try to help others that are getting this procedure and others. I will include links here when done.
