Wanted to give back and help others out there, have blurred out my face as i didnt want it all over the internet sorry! & ill try to update when I can.
Flew out to istanbul 7/12/17 op on the 8th and back on the 9th.
Had over 4000 grafts to fill in my hairline and any thinning on top. Took just under 7 hours.
Clinic I used is called Get hair and paid £2950 + £160 for flights. Could of got it cheaper but liked the reviews and the look of this place so paid extra, still a huge saving over the UK. Liked the fact that the Dr made the incisions himself rather than technicians.
Did have some swelling and bruising 3 days post but cleared come day 6.
7 weeks post now and the donor area looks great, wouldnt know any hairs have been taken even clipped at 1mm length.
Transplanted area is still slightly pink but was quite red raw up until about 4 weeks, getting better day by day.
Happy to leave the house without a hat even the way it is, have started to see some growth already, not much but some hairs sprouting out and a few that didnt shed have continued to grow. Too early to leave a positive review but I’m positive l have a good result in a few months time.
Still looks bald at the temples but very early days!

Little update, few pictures from the past couple of weeks.
Fews hairs starting to grow but a long way to go yet!
Not wishing the time away just leaving it to so its thing and not thinking about it too much. Using minoxidil twice daily not sure if this is doing anything yet, too early to tell.

Just an update of the head with clear pics all taken today. All taken with the flash on after applying minoxidil (shiny scalp)
Still getting a couple of pimples in the donor area and still slightly pink on top but overall looking okay.
Shock loss from the top appears to be growing back.
