Double Incision Top Surgery / Gender Affirming

Dr. Huettner is the epitome of an excellent, caring surgeon. She was very honest and forthcoming in my consults with her, agreed to talk to me more than once to ease my fears and concerns, and even called me the night before surgery to check in on me. She was just as excited as I was for my surgery, and her energy on the day of immediately put me at ease. She was super excited, kind, and clearly compassionate. She checked in on me frequently as I was being prepped for surgery, and even let me choose the song I would fall asleep to in the operating room. After the surgery she called my partner and ensured care was conveyed to many people. She also called me the next day to check on me. During my two-week follow up she was so excited and joyous and celebratory of me and my new body. I have never felt so seen and celebrated by a physician. I highly recommend her. Her team is also incredible, namely her PA Leah, and the ENTIRE office management team, social worker, and financial advisor! They respect and celebrate various gender identities and pronouns!
