Hi! I recirved 1 syringe of voluma (.5 per cheek) to add back some volume after weight loss. The procedure wasn't painful, just felt a bit at the deepest part of the injection. I'm not noticeably swollen and only have a small bruise on each cheek that's easily covered by makeup. I'm really happy with the results! I also had Botox to my Glabella region but since it hasn't taken effect yet I will do a separate review on it later.

Beautiful! Subtle contouring that looks very natural - congrats!

What was your post-procedure like? Did you need to ice the area or sleep in a specific position?

Thanks!
I was told to not sleep on my side for the first night but I didn't for 3 just to be safe. I didn't ice or anything as there wasn't much swelling. It's still just a bit tender to the touch on 4 days out now.

Looks good! I have been wanting to get it done also. How did you decide on how much to get put in? Does it feel hard or strange to the touch?
September 18, 2015
The doctor decided for me. I actually expected to get a full syringe per side but he suggested less. It never felt hard or strange at all. The first few days I could feel around and part of find it but not even that anymore.

You got a really nice result. I had the same amount of Volumma injected into my cheeks and I am going to ask my doctor if I should get another syringe because yours looks so good. Congrats

You look very pretty. I think this seems the safest route for cheeks.

Hey, I'm also 22 y/o and considering fillers or implants to the same region with ur fillers. Do you recommend it? It is too new for you, too. I'm afraid of quick melt of the fillers
December 15, 2015
I'm not sure what you mean by "quick melt" of the fillers? Just that they will go away too soon? I've only had mine for a little over 3 months so I can't really comment on how long it will last yet. But I do whole-heartedly recommend it if you have volume loss in the same region! Just make sure your doctor really listens to where you want it placed.?

Still happy after 3+ months

I'm still so glad I did this, I'll continue to do it once every year. I've actually decided to get fillers under my eye as well in about 3 weeks.
